You can find an unofficial reales of AOEII. AOEII:Unforgotten Empires . New graphics, new factions (Italians, Magears ...) . It's free, try it!

There are a lot of great unofficial expansions/modpacks, etc. You should check out the Blacksmith aok.heavengames.com

They've got a lot of great stuff there. There was even talk of frontpaging this project at the forums there. They seem to like it.

Nice. AOEII castle always looked pretty cramped, but it's definitely imposing, and you've captured that well.

I think the Turk's hat looks a little funny as well. Perhaps a brick-built hand-cannon would have fit better, but really good otherwise.

As a huge AoE fan, this project is must-support for me! The buildings are looking great even on their own, but the level of detail and likeness to their game counterparts is amazing. Great job!
