Lego Spy Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Wow! It's hard to believe you can build angles like that with Lego! Great MOC! (Now if only Lego could make sets like this ) Quote
KristofBD Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Very clever build! The shapes are obviously the eye-catchers, but I love the colours and the finishing details as well! Perfect build in my opinion! Quote
SonofTheShire Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 (edited) Very nice, but the door handle and the hinges are on the same side of the door ?! Heh. That was the first thing I noticed. Everything else is pretty awesome, though. Actually, it's cool that the door even has hinges. Is there an interior? Edited October 30, 2013 by SonofTheShire Quote
-obelix- Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Very nice design, the stone work is excellent! Quote
sdrnet Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Awesome job! The thing I like most, however, is the delightful combination of colors. Compliments. This demonstrates how a beautiful moc must not necessarily be gigantic! Quote
kabel Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 congrats ld for being frontpaged, quite an honor! Quote
I Scream Clone Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Well done on a sweet build, worthy of FPing. The walls look great as does the rock work. Quote
PenPlays Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 You never cease to impress me LD! The angles of the house are unbelievable. I also have to agree with mpoh. I'd love a rock-scape tutorial from you. Congrats on getting on The Brother's Brick, by the way. Quote
tazzy007 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Just looked on your Flickr page and you are 1 excellent builder. Love everything you have built. Quote
Legogal Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I almost fell out of bed looking at this! The angles are so disorienting that they are messing with my sense of balance. Holy schomoleee and congratulations! Quote
Vader X Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Was the carpenter drunk when he framed this house? ;) Very nice build sir! Quote
Birdbird Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Beautiful cottage! How did you manage the angle? Any tips? Quote
Gabe Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Stunning build Legonardo, just brilliant. I imagine that timber story would have needed very steady hands to assemble. Although i have to wonder - if the timber story is at such a dramatic angle, how come the roof is still upright? (It must be some of that Dark Isles magic! ) Quote
kieran Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Very clever how this is done, really nice work. Quote
King Aragorn Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 This is too complex for me! Wonderful work! Quote
SlimShady Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Very fascinating! Structure is awesome. Quote
Legonardo Posted November 1, 2013 Author Posted November 1, 2013 (edited) Wha, front page, thanks! The walls are rotated on two axis, the third might be showing up soon aswell rockscaping isnt an easy thing to pass on knowledge, every single rock has different connections and different ways of fitting together, im really sure any attempt i make at a tutorial will fail to help, the rocks are what take the longest in any of my builds hands down, i spent about 2 hours on that one larger rock in the cetre, which isnt really large at all, but ive got no techniques, i have to find a way that works every time. thanks everyone! Lord Vladivus Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Again the rock work is awesome, and those angles are great. Another amazing build! Quote
Paddi Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Wow! Thats Mindfu**ing awesome! I really like your walls, great MoC! Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) You should let us see how you do all the sides! To me it looks like there isn't a third side or a forth side from the left and your just using photography to trick us.Why is the doorknob on the same side as the hinges? Edited November 2, 2013 by Captain BeerBeard Quote
Legonardo Posted November 4, 2013 Author Posted November 4, 2013 there isn't a third or fourth side, im still working on that, it gets pretty parts intensive the door is like that coz' im a nob Quote
