BaraSH Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 This MOC took the second place in this western contest. Quote
Mr Breden Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Amazing work BaraSH , interesting use of a sticker sheet as the roof for the wagon (Even if it seems that fell out in one of the pics ) Quote
Infernum Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Wow! Nice! Love the interiors and figs! Nice train too! Quote
mpoh98 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Fantastic work, I love the details! Well done! The insides of the buildings are fantastic, and that train is spectacular! Superb! Quote
kinggregus Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 This is an incredible build. It is really neat. Is the saloon sign brick build? I really like it. Quote
christianvonnoppenquader Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I like the saloon. How does it look in the dark (while I spotted some cables and a LED ;) ) Quote
marvinmalkowskijr Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Amazing job. The Train is the best part of this! Quote
Mutant Orc Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Wow!!! I really love this whole scene! It'll definitely be inspiration when I get around to building a Colby City. Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Stunning! A great scene filled with details! Also brilliant use of the stickersheet Quote
Missing Brick Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Great moc. I particularly like the Saloon / Brothel. Although, I think using the sticker sheet for the wagon cover is taking the lego purist thing a bit too far :) Quote
Jim Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I absolutely love western scenes and buildings. This is no exception!! Great work. Small suggestion; the base plate (ground) could use a little more decoration if you ask me. Or maybe some color variation on the ground will do. It looks a bit too "base-platy-ish". Nevertheless awesome build! Quote
Darth Dino Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Hi woohoo! Thats cool! Harmonica: And Frank? Snaky: Frank sent us. Harmonica: Did you bring a horse for me? Snaky: Well... looks like we're... [snickers] Snaky: ...looks like we're shy one horse. Harmonica: You brought two too many. ;) Dino Quote
Robert_88 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 (edited) Amazing! @ Darth Dino: That dialogue came to my mind as well ;) Edited October 31, 2013 by Robert_88 Quote
Chilis Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Wow! Incredible diorama! Great work and so many nice snot-techniques. I do miss the handrails on the staircases tho. ;) Quote
Palathadric Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 That water tower stands out as being exceptionally awesome. Quote
gev Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 (edited) So, I can't reply to: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=88139 so I'll nit pick here. "He used some clever technics and even included interiors!" I don't see significant Technics used in this MOC, but many fine techniques. Edited November 1, 2013 by Ecclesiastes all fixed! Quote
Marcel1980 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 What does the battery power? Cant imagine it for the train. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 AWESOME work 'BaraSH', I the train and that saloon is just the bomb ! Only a piano is missing from it and why is there a modern looking cash register in the general store ? Still it's wonderful work, congrats on getting second place.......Brick On 'BaraSH' ! Quote
timmyc1983 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Excellent MOC, it really does have a great Wild West feel to it! All the buildings are great and I love the water tower. The train is also very well done but my favourite bit is the cactus out the back, great touch Congrats on your 2nd place and happy building Quote
Paddi Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 It looks great, good Work! But there is one thing i dont like: It looks to clean. You build a Western Town, it have to look more dirty, i think. But the rest is perfect (A little bit too perfect ). Regards, Paddi Quote
Gideon Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 (edited) Wonderful build! I especially love the interiors I agree with previous comments however that the ground is a bit "low-resolution" and could use some more detailing and/or color variation. Edited November 1, 2013 by Gideon Quote
narbilu Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Very cool, one of the best I've ever seen... am just wondering what entry won, when this is second place... Quote
