schermvlieger Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 its scares me so i think it is doing it's job, right? i mean, i would not want my son anywhere near such a contraption. just look at it: the boy would have nightmares for a week. Quote
Legofan225 Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 So l need to do more work on it yes ? Quote
Timeline15 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Pretty good start, but may I suggest decreasing the amount of colours in it? The one piece of keetorange armour really doesn't go with the rest. Also, is that technis assembly on the tail some sort of function? If so, cool, but it is a bit of an eyesore. Quote
Mephek Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 This just looks terrible. Terrible build, looks clustered and clunky. Looks like something I'd make when I was 5 Quote

ZCerberus Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 A couple of things Mr. Legofan225 1. EB does have an age limit of 18, which you are under, however, we are more concerned about maturity, so you won't be kicked off due to your age so long as you ACT mature. As part of that, however, I would not advertise your age on the forums. 2. You should really post pictures in your topics, it really helps draw people in better. One caution though, the images you have on "postimage.org" are too large to be posted on EB. I would use flickr as it automatically gives you multiple size options which would be appropriate for EB. 3. Someone saying your MOC is terrible or of bad caliber doesn't mean you should listen to them. It is clear to me you are looking for constructive feedback and that is what this forum is for. Don't be discouraged by one guy talking smack, this thread isn't going to be closed. 4. I think the MOC is okay, what you really need work on is your photo taking skills. Some tips if I may a. Some of the the photos are our of focus. Are you using a digital camera (as opposed to a phone)? If you're using a camera, for close-ups, try using the macro setting. It will look like a flower somewhere in your camera's options. It will help you focus on objects that are nearby. The photos can also get out of focus if the flash is off (which I prefer because no flash gets more true to life colors and removes the flash glare) and your hand moves when you push the button on the camera down. Since Lego doesn't move when being photographed, trying using your camera's timer so the picture doesn't get taken until a few seconds after you push down the button. b. Get some more whiteboard or paper so your carpet doesn't show up in the photos! c. For some really good lighting that will make your MOC look awesome, I usually take my pictures outside in the shade. It really helps the colors look natural and removes all the shadows you can get from direct sunlight. Good luck! Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) Okay i'm sorry but like what Mephek said, this MOC is terrible, the color is really bad (i think you should have just used Balck and Silver, even if it's a overuse color). The tail is not good, don't know why you added more parts then just using some bone piece. Legs i think should be we made and should use Bones and/or Mata arms. The arms, well okay it's easy and alright but i think you should change the colors. The body look like it was put on Randomly and didn't try to put anything to it but i will say that using a 1.0 body is a good idea but it look like you are not using it right. Head is bad good and IMO you should use the Fenrakk Head, it may will help you with making a better head for the MOC. In my opinion to help you make the MOC better, take a look at the Scorpio and other animal MOCs at there build and try to get a idea for a new body design that will look great.
