Kintobor Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 "Well, no, of course not... sort of..." Karie face was turning redder than her hair. "A little..." "Mreoow! <Tempted? You spent three hours in the woods contemplating whether or not you'd pour that stuff on your face! I'mma gonna snuggle you.>" Hershey affectionately rubs her head on Karie's shoulder. Quote

Cryos Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) Baradock gave a resounding 'humphm', Agreeing with the ogre. It wouldn't be long now until they reached the light house. And they didn't need another episode when lives were possibly at stake. Thinking of the witches reaction to his plan. Baradock picked up the pace a bit, he felt a sinking feeling as the winds started to kick up and the rain becoming a bit more heavy. He made sure not to visibly show his anxiety, seeing how adept the golden Syndicate was at discerning truth from a lie. Edited November 11, 2013 by Cryos Quote
Endgame Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) Skrall shakes the rain off of his back, "Ya folks really think this is the moment for an intervention?" "...Fair enough. Ther really isn't a good moment, but this certainly is one of the worse ones..." The party walks in silent contemplation the rest of the way, the rain beginning to intensify. Clouds were beginning to cast over the heroes, the sun fading - night was approaching. The party finally reaches the lighthouse, the tall structure not yet lit. It stands solemnly in a cobbled clearing, hanging above the crystal sea below, allowing it to be a beacon to all incoming ships. However, three hooligans near the lighthouse's base demanded more immediate attention. "..." "So what do you think you wannabe heroes are doing hanging around here huh?!" An elven lady screeches. "Sooooo heeeyyyyy. You think you imposters can take the glory from us, huh." A male archer states in a sedated tone. All three were clearly high - none were in their natural state of mind. Cryos Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Baradock thinks quickly, withdrawing his bottle of mead. Waving it jauntingly over his head. Before chucking it out of sight, hopefully those crack heads would run after it. Or atleast one of those idiots. Something dies inside of him as he realizes he departed with his great alcohol! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Skrall wasn't in the mood for bantering with fools, but he knew that the streets didn't need any more blood than was necessary. "Not at all, feel free to continue. If ya need any help just holler." Skrall watched as Baradock chucked his bottle of mead. "Ummm... Or feel free to do whatever ya please, long as it's civilized." Kintobor Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) Karie meanders over to Baradock's bottle of mead, picks it up and returns it to him. "Perhaps you should drink it? I doubt these guys are hooked on mead, but this pink stuff. Actually..." Karie reaches into her pouch, pulling out the accursed drug. "Why fight us? We're certified drug dealers! Pixie Dust, you look like the lot who's into Pixie Dust, and lots of it! Here, I'll give this to you if you're interested? First one's free when you buy from me! Little slogan I made up there..." Cryos Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) Baradock enthusiastically takes back his alcohol. 'Why did I ever do that? This alcohol is too good to be wasted!' Before stuffing that back in his pouch, he would save that for a better occasion. Turning over the bartering to the witch, which seemed to have the exact drug for the situation. Waterbrick Down Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Skrall eyed the psychos as he whispered to Karie and Baradock, "I'd be interested to find out how a group from the hovels got to be so well armed." Quote
Kintobor Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 "I'm a bit curious too, actually. Hold on." She whispered back to Skrall. Taking back her position, she looked at the trio of drugged up junkies. It was somewhat... unnerving. "Might I inquire where you got those weapons? A dealer like myself enjoys the company of fine weapons." Quote
Cryos Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Baradock shook his head. Trying to make conversation with these hooligans? A better question was why these clowns weren't drowning right now. Baradock slid back on his helmet. The rain was starting to land in his eyes. Quote

Cryos Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Baradock took out his paper he had earlier. Scribbling something on it. Waterbrick Down Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Skrall stared at the paper it had been many months since he had to do any extensive reading and it took a while for the rain smeared words to assemble themselves into a cohesive sentence. Skrall whispered back before giving a long hard stare at the silent barbarian, "Considerin' that. I don't mind 'em goin' ahead of us, but would rather them do it on our own terms. Let's see what they have to say." Quote

Her mask on, she looked almost androgynous, with the only dead giveaway being her voice. "I say we at least knock them out with something. A sedative or..." Karie glanced over at Octavyn's baubles, pointing at his sedatives. "A sedative." Edited November 11, 2013 by Kintobor Quote
Cryos Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) Baradock shrugged and folded back the paper and stuck it in his pouch. This witches plan was extremely convoluted and unnecessary. But he would let Octavyn be the judge of that, seeing as it was his tranquilizers being wasted. Edited November 11, 2013 by Cryos Quote

Karie glanced over at Octavyn's baubles, pointing at his sedatives. "A sedative." "Which one should I go for?" Octavyn murmurs. "They may be able to get a cheap shot in... Cryos Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Baradock sighed. Then thats what it's gonna be. He began cracking his knuckles audibly. Turning to the hooligans, and pounds his club into the palm of his hand. They couldn't be that tough, watching them prance around in crack limbo. 'And that halberd really did belong in better hands...' he thought, eyeing the junkie that dressed as what looked like a knight. Baradock gives a weighty nod he was ready to bash some skulls! Quote
