Posted November 2, 201311 yr My first experience of motorization At-te I want to sell this walker, name the price for which you want to buy it.
November 2, 201311 yr Hi that is very cool, even i do not like AT TEs. I expected some funny wobbly "walking" as the AT AT UCS "stumbler". Hey, but your looks realy good. I mean how it walk? Machine-like, plus with good (the right) speed that i easily can imagine how a real life size thing would walk. Dino
November 2, 201311 yr That's really good! Just as in the movie! Could you show me some interior pics to see how it works exactly? (by the way, in the end of the clip you can see "geregiseerd door <hier naam invoeren>" it looks a bit strange ;) )
November 2, 201311 yr That's just great! With a fairly simple (read: executable) mechanism, you managed to create a functional and accurate movement. I like how it wobbles a bit. It does make a lot of vertical movement, but that's just a minor issue. By the way, how much of the original model did you keep? I don't see any changes on the outside, but I imagine the inside being completely butchered. Great way to introduce yourself!
November 2, 201311 yr Well done! I too would like to see some additional detail about how you made the inner workings, gearing, etc.
November 2, 201311 yr That's awesome. The moving is really as it appeared in the films. And the fact that you can steer it makes it much cooler.
November 3, 201311 yr What a great machine! Best mod of 2013 IMHO... Are you coming to the Lowlug meeting on the 17th by any chance? You should bring it, I'm sure a lot of Techies would love to see it work :-)
November 4, 201311 yr Hey! It doesn't move like a completely drunk moron is driving unlike my official motorized AT-AT! Edited November 4, 201311 yr by BrickG

November 6, 201311 yr Oh my gooooooosh, what a beauty! I guess my cat would be a little bit scared.. ;) you should try a remote controlled version. That would be more awesome than pure awesomeness... :D
November 7, 201311 yr Very good effort there. Fast and fluid movement, clean external looks. Left right turning capability is a huge plus.
