just2good Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Have we gotten any more information on when in 2014 these will be released? All they've said is "late" 2014. So maybe an August release, or even November. September is an odd release for a wide-release theme, but it's possible. Quote

The Ender Dragon (?) looks nice, and I hope we get a bigger look at him soon. I hope they do a Shelter set, though! Quote

AyliffeMakit Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 http://www.hothbrick...-et-squelettes/ creeper: looks bad skeleton: looks bad Interesting picture, but I have to agree with you that the creeper looks downright terrible. The Skeleton looks okay though. Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Ugh. That creeper is UGLY. the rest are good though. I REALLY hope they print the side of Steve's head. Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Yeah, that creeper doesn't really look like the game version. The skeleton looks nice though. Quote
larsyuipo Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 i want that one with the rotateble, moveble head. Not the spinning head Quote
greeny Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Maybe the creeper is still being worked on. Or, at least I hope so... The skeleton looks a bit strange because the head is a different colour to the body. Quote

This might be the official one! Quote
TheNerdyOne_ Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 The Co-Build project on Facebook have released a Merry Christmas Picture , that includes the creeper in it ... This might be the official one! That's the picture they're talking about. That Creeper is only one of two prototypes that they've narrowed it down to, and they plan on making more changes based on feedback for those two. Quote
Godtshep Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 This sounds good. I hope we get a Nether set, perhaps with some Zombie Pigmen, Wither skeletons and a Ghast. Quote
Crackerjack Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 That sword is amazing (and 100% accurate), but that creeper is butt ugly. It's going to need a lot of modifying to make it look good. Quote
TNT apples Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 They're still working on these, that's why they look so bad... Quote
Blast Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Not a Minecraft fan but I've played the game and wondered why the sets where Micro rather than full sized so this is definitely superior to this years sets and should be a treat for fans of Minecraft Quote
larsyuipo Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 just want to give it a bump so more people will discuss :) I'm very looking forward till more pictures and videos Quote
Jaller8240 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 The Creeper design in that first picture is much more accurate to the game. I hope that's the one we get in the sets. Quote
Miss Kyle Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I became a huge Minecraft fan only recently (with 1.7 already out) and I am very much looking forward to this! Quote
SandMirror38 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I just find it funny that 1. Lego is asking for Fans input on an IP line.. 2. For once Lego is making models that look NOTHING like thier gamecounter part.. It's like they're delperatly trying to make them look bad! How hard is it to make a creeper that looks like the one in the game??? You can make it from: 1x 2x2 Green tile. 1x 2x2 Green Brick with Printing 4x 1x2 Green Brick- for legs and chest? 1x 1x2 Green jumper plate And 1x 2x4 Green plate... Quote
Laservampire Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 You can even have a fully articulated one that's the correct scale! Quote
TAFOL Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Except for the green 1x2-1x2 Inverted Bracket not yet existing in green. Quote
just2good Posted February 16, 2014 Author Posted February 16, 2014 From the NYTF press release... Digital creativity takes physical form in a new collection of LEGO Minecraft Creative Adventure sets which replicate virtual worlds and their characters in LEGO form. So, at least they're still coming this year, but that's odd it has a subtitle. Maybe it's just like the Microworld subtitle. Quote
