Posted November 3, 201311 yr Often it can be difficult to decide what I want to build. The Collectible Minifigures theme has brought many interesting historical minifigures. Last year I have built a large Greek layout for the Spartan from series 2: http://www.eurobrick...89#entry1533491 After I had finished the Greek layout I thought a lot about what I should build next. Should I build a Roman layout for the Roman minifigures? Or should build an Egyptian layout for the pharaoh? Or a 1700's layout with a lot of minifigures with white wigs? I would like to build it all. That's how I got the idea to build this MOC: Ancient Egypt: Ancient Greece: Ancient Rome: In the background: Colosseum The Viking Age The Middle Ages: The Renaissance In the background: St. Peter's Basilica in Rome: The Late Renaissance: In the background: Rosenborg Castle: The Age of Enlightenment In the background: Fredensborg Palace: The Industrial Revolution In the background: Westminster Palace: Modern Time: The back of the MOC is a world map: Edited November 3, 201311 yr by Lasse

November 3, 201311 yr This is wonderful. I thought the individual scenes were really well done, and I was really surprised to see the map of the world on the back - a very well thought out detail that adds a lot. I love the progression of the build...fab work!
November 3, 201311 yr this is a great idea, nice small scale buildings. Something i would put in a class room for history reference

November 3, 201311 yr Excellent idea, fantastic execution. This looks amazing! Silly joke, the 5th Egyptian/1st Greek is the first mob victim who got his feet cast in concrete? ;)
November 3, 201311 yr very cool, a very atractive way to teach some history. Any plans to make the rest, the beginning with caveman and a possible future?
November 3, 201311 yr Wow! I'm particularly impressed by the buildings from St. Peter's Basilica to the Palace of Westminster. I think my favourite is Rosenborg Castle. How did you achieve the columns in St. Peter's Basilica?
November 3, 201311 yr Wow, that is bloody amazing! I really love the world map on the back and how you designed every little detail in that history of the world.
November 3, 201311 yr Go to cuusoo and add it as a complete set or part sets, im sure it would hit the 10,000 !!! ;)

November 3, 201311 yr Humanity begins with Ramesses the Great and ends with Paris Hilton. Heh. Very nice MOC. Potential additions you could consider for an expanded version: Prehistory: A volcano, a jungle tree Baby T-Rex. A monkey. The Gorilla Suit Guy. A Caveman and Cavegirl. Feudal Japan: A Japanese shrine or temple A ninja. A Samurai. A Geisha. A sumo wrestler. A Sensei. Upcoming figures you definitely want to add when they are released: Abe Lincoln & William Shakespeare!
