IenjoyLego89 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 [pid][/pid]239A I'm not sure if I've done this right but here it goes; http://www.flickr.co...04/10648711076/ Just an attempted at water using Lego, I'm happy with how it turned out but I know I can improve. Any C&C welcome I believe it's this way! by ienjoylego, on Flickr Quote

kermit Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Good attempt. You should experiment using transclear bricks. Quote

Thanks, I've seen that done in a few mocs, but I don't have those pieces, so I tried with what I got to little success...me thinks I'll be ordering some of those next time. good attempt Thanks mate :) Quote
4WD Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 That's a really good attempt! I love the surrounding 'base' you've made around the water as well. It makes it look majestic, even for a rowboat. Quote
Captain Settle Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I like how you made the row boat look like it's rocking. Quote
Capt. Stabbin Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Very nice build! I don't know how I overlooked this. I've updated your first post, so everybody can see the picture. Great job! [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] Quote

Captain Golden Hook Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Awesome! I love how it's tiled and the realistic foamy wake! Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted December 19, 2013 Author Posted December 19, 2013 Thanks for the blog Capt. Stabbin, really made my day Awesome! I love how it's tiled and the realistic foamy wake! Cheers mate it's not actually tiled. It is just standard 1x2 / 1x1 blue bricks turned on their side and slotted in the border, a gap is made so the boat can fit in Quote
Commodore Ariel Brickson Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Very nice scene; it remembers me that paiting of George Washington crossing the Delaware... but with redcoats . And good trick to put the row boat in that position... Friendly from Spain, Commodore Ariel. Quote
