here's one of mine

The photos don't show any useful detail, but the video is nice. I like the minecrafty stepper. The shooter looks very effective. Do you have more pictures of it, or, if you copied the design, do you know from where?

YouTube user "The ReBricker" (no idea if he has any affiliation to ReBrickable) has reverse engineered

and has created a set of excellent
. I am in the process of watching them and creating LDraw files from what I see. I'm not hugely into GBC, but I do find it fascinating and Akiyuki's modules are the most mesmerizing I've seen. If ever I was going to build one, this would be it. Here's what I've got so far:

Module 1 - Battery box (I would probably use a train regulator)

Module 2 - Initial Drive Assembly

640x440.jpg

Module 3 - Load Turner

640x487.jpg

Module 4 - Bucket Wheel

Module 5 - Empty Bucket Mover

The assembly to so far:

I've seen the videos and your effort to put those in 'digital' form is truly appreciated.

Though, in all honesty, and with all YOUR contributions to this forum, one must ponder: Where do you find the time? Do you ever sleep?

the light being used is the one from powerfunctions. That doesn't connect to a 9 volt connection of the RCX without a convertor cable...

Offcourse you can use an old type 9volt light and a 9 volt wire instead.

Kind regards,

Upon more research it looks like the video author is already working on his own LDraw version, but I'm going to keep going with mine anyway because I learn a lot in the process of lining everything up.

Sleep? That would cut into my time for my other hobbies:

Coming up really nice. I must warn though, for those of us endeavoring to build such contraption that, according to Akiyuki himself in one of his web sites, tuning and timing of all the functions/modules is really tricky. I can't find the page now but it was in Japanese and I had to use Google Translate. In fact, even the author of the build videos spends a great deal of time explaining how to put all the modules together and how to time/tune them

. The complexity does not diminish the scale of the project. On the contrary, it makes one even more appreciative of the efforts that go into it. Edited by DrJB

@9v system, please try to write my first name correctly. It is Maico...

The modules which have buildinginstructions you can find them in the videos on my Youtube channel.

Kind regards,

Maico Arts

This weekend I was attending an event in the Netherlands. We setup a "small" circuit with 51 modules.

Unfortunately I dismantled that one

The exit and size let me believe it is similar to the GBCube module of Steve Hassenplug. I recently have posted a building instruction on my Youtube channel.
