jorgeopesi Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 I am sorry... I wanted to say a normal motor, I call them XL, L and S motors so it was my fault. I could play with the F40 but it won´t be enough faster to need a servo so maybe I will change it to gain more room. Quote
jorgeopesi Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 More progress. Rare solution in the steering wheel and extra hard front suspension for the bonnet weight. Quote
zux Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Yummy. Looks like rear bonnet will be heavy too, knowing its original size, includint he spoiler. Quote
Technyk32231 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Looks very nice. Are you using the front wheel hubs from 8448, and rear hubs from 42000? I don't see the 3 pin hub on front, and I see a 3 pin hub with gray pins at rear. Quote

Polo-Freak Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Manual Car Please Its only For Show Case Quote
Zerobricks Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 One question: Can you reute steering from the wheel to the rack via uibversal joints and not 3x 24 tooth gears? Other than thats is awesome! Quote

Other than thats is awesome! I am using 2x 16 tooth gears and tracks in this version Zblj, for the You Tube question I am using only 2 motors, in the other side we have the rechargeable battery and the receptor. Quote
Kronos Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Great job Jorge! Looking awesome! I'll be building this one once instructions are released. I vote for manual instructions. Thanks for all the hard work. Mike Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Finally I can build modular and thank god because I need the motors for a quick project , look at the funny picture... . Thanks for all comments . Quote
bmollema Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Great looking. I am for a manual version it may lead to rc MOD's later on. Quote
Lipko Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Yup, modular building is very handy, it's also much easier to improve the modules you wouldn't want to touch otherwise (like a gearbox in the middle of the car) Quote
dragofoscar Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) I would like instructions as well ;O) And RC would be very nice - but I think I am the only one thinking this way ;) Edited January 4, 2014 by dragofoscar Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 More pics working on the roof and the door frame. Quote
unimog123 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 This car is awesome! I've thought about making a ferrari like that, but never did. I love how you got the gearbox so compact and functional. Also, do you know how fast it can go and does it handle well? Looking forward to final model. Quote
Kronos Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Nice job Jorge. I've seen many cars, including several F40's, where the front end didn't look quite right. (too long) You nailed this one. I can' wait to add it to my collection. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 This is one of the best Ferrari ever Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 (edited) This car is awesome! I've thought about making a ferrari like that, but never did. In a car like this speed does not matter, too much detail, gearbox and super heavy opened parts... I hope you can park it and play simple handlings. Think that I put motors to make me more difficult the challenge not to play with it, this car without motors would have less headaches . Thank you for comments. May be as fast as the Huayra, it is heavier but it has 2 motors . http://www.eurobrick...hl=huayra&st=25 Edited January 19, 2014 by jorgeopesi Quote
