Captain Settle Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Here's my Christmas decoration! For people thinking this isn't particularly Christmas-y, may I please remind you of a Wham! song played around this time of year.
SalvoBrick Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 A classic: just a Xmas tree and a Santa :)
Sir E Fullner Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Here's mine: On a tree, too! It's a simple build, and inside is a diorama of a little tree and present in the snow. With this model, I'm very much satisfied with the green and white stripes contrasting with the red ornament. I hope I get picked!
Holodoc Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Thanks Mike, for arganizing this (once again)! I - WANT - THIS - MINIFIG!!! Christmas Angel! Very nice entry, mordrate! My vote goes to y... ... wait this is a raffle, right? So here's my entry: ... on their way ...

Captain Settle Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 So here's my entry: ... on their way ... I hate to bet that guy, but how the hell does that hang on a tree! It must be too heavy. Still, it's a nice MOC, especially the old well.
Captain Nemo Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Here's my Entry: Merry Christmas Gotham! Inspired by Batman the Animated Series. Enjoy ~Nemo
Snowspeeder Pilot Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 This is my entry: "The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come" from Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol.
rodiziorobs Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 (edited) Here's my Entry: Merry Christmas Gotham! Inspired by Batman the Animated Series. Enjoy Sing with me! Crashing through the roof, on a one-horse open tree... I totally have to go watch this again now (Christmas with the Joker, for those who weren't raised on the series), thanks for the laugh! Daiman Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 What a nice little way to spend a Sunday afternoon, Seasons Greetings... even if it is still November. My entry
Junpei Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I love all the entries, I'll be posting mine tomorrow. Daiman, what program did you use to make that render? It looks not as good as LDraw but better than LDD.
Lego Otaku Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I hate to bet that guy, but how the hell does that hang on a tree! It must be too heavy. Still, it's a nice MOC, especially the old well. Lose the baseplate and hang 4 of them as individual. Still a nice one!

It looks not as good as LDraw but better than LDD. LDD to PovRay takes the pain out of rendering. Mine was set about half way to realistic, check out their site... http://ldd2povray.lddtools.com/ There is also a forum here at Euro which is the only one that will answer all of your questions. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=71654 It is the bees... and for more eg http://www.flickr.com/photos/daiman_mardon/

The guidelines say: "The MOC theme is Christmas tree ornaments." Does it have to hang then? My ornament is laying in front of the tree of course. But if you insist: Just take each of the three kings and hang them to the tree.
Swan Dutchman Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Hi everyone, Such cool entries already! Really fun to look at what everyone has come up with this year. The parts for my entry arrived, so here is my entry for this year: a tiny Christmas train. The Christmas train is made of 165 small parts. When hanging it on a string in the Christmas tree it hangs nearly horizontal. More and bigger pictures are on my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/66389707@N08/ And thank you CopMike for organizing this! I doubt if I would ever have got the idea of making a tiny train if you hadn't made the theme Christmas tree ornaments.
Cecilie Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Here's mine: Although it's very leaky, so without water is probably better for actually hanging on the tree Pic without water There's also a video! Look at it snow!
Athos Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Oooooh, I see Max Rebo (I want, I want) and Endor Leia hair (I want more, I want more). Ninja Turtles (meh) and dead warrior helmets (sweet, can always use more of those). There are some super cool ornaments here. I am going to be stealing a bunch of these designs. So far my favorites are Archer's (though I won't be using it), dr_spock's (where does that clear ball come from?), otaku's (though I'm going to scale it down), bacem's (the design is perfect), ronenson's (explain the connections to me), Etzel's (it looks like it should be from Latin America not Scandinavia), HerrJJ's (needs to be scaled down too), Kristel (I love it, I'm always quite impressed with your builds. How is the roof attached?), SalvoBrick's (though it looks kind of heavy), CaptainNemo's (though I'm not sure I want it on my tree), Yooha's (great size and design), SwanDutchman's (needs to be smaller) and Cecille's (where is that clear ball from?) Steve
