I don't get the dislike for Wiley Fusebot. He's probably my most anticipated of the lot. Just switch out his head & hands and wah-la! Instant Davy Crockett / Old West Trapper!

Shhhhhh!!!!!

Don't give people ideas until I've bought my ton of extras first! (pssst...notice how the chest printing doesn't show any "skin" color? He could easily be used with robot, yellow OR fleshie heads! :) )

My t6ake on them (and copy pasting AyliffeMakit's list to avoid retyping and missing any  )

Calamaty Drone: I must be weird, because I really really like this fig. RoboHooker! I can find so many uses for her in my weird twisted scifi MOC's. Both as she is, and parted out. I love her hair! I can just see the possibilities. Star Wars Hutt MOC. Fallout New Vegas, etc. But I am a bot strange I will admit.

Taco Tuesday guy: Nice fig, although not overly exciting to me. I like the Maraca guy I have. This one will find a home as well. maybe I'll MOC up a mariachi band?

President Business: The hair is strange but interesting, although I don't see a lot of use. However his suit is enough to make me want him in multiples. Just a good generic general purpose torso and legs. 100's of uses.

Hard Hat Emmet:I like him. I love the hat. I'm liking the character. Not a ton of usefulness. But desirable

Wild west Wildstyle: I love this fig. Cool hair. Cool face. Really cool goth dress. I could live with 2 or 3 to use for MOC'ing and one to keep intact.

Abraham Lincoln: I love the figure, although its use is limited. 1 or 2 for weird Abe Lincoln MOC's. (I'm thinking chainsaw weilding zombie hunter?)

Mrs Scratchen-Post: A somewhat unexciting yet extremely useful fig. Good hair, good face. Good cat hair covered torso. Will be useful for adding character to modern or city scenes. She looks like a good candidate for being eaten by zombies.

Scribble face Bad Cop: Possibly my favorite fig of the line. That scribbled face. It is terrifying. The scariest Lego fig ever made.

William Shakespeare: A great fig with lot's of useful parts. Will go well with the actor.

Gail the construction worker:I like her. She adds a ton of character to any city scene. I love the hard hat with the female hair. One of the more useful pieces of the series. (I figure Friends builders will adore than.)

Larry the Barista: I love Larry! he adds character to a town. Great face, hair, that cup.

Velma Staplbot: Kinda meh. Possibly the weakest fig for me. I only need so many beehive hairs.

Where are my pants guy: The face and hair just screams Dareth the Brown Ninja. The Hawaian shirt torso is great. But the whole pants thing? Bleah. I like him, but a little goes a long way.

Wiley Fusebot: So many useful parts. Davy Crockett! Robo Davy Crockett! A great wild west or colonial era fig.

Panda suit guy: I must haz "Sexual Harassment Panda!" (yeah I'm weird and twisted. I thought we covered that already?) The only downside is any MOC you include him in just gets that much more unintentionally creepy.

Marsha, Queen of the mermaids: I have so many Mermaids and virtually nothing to do with them. My Queen Anne's Revenge has found greater profit as a floating cannery. (Sing it with me CHICKEN OF THE SEA!). Seriously I can probably find a use for 1 or 2 of the odd colored hair pieces in a Fantasy or SciFi or weird hipster MOC. No use whatsoever for the tail.

Kind of sad that there are no Army Builders at all in this line. Even a few robo swat cops would have been nice.

Thank you very much for sharing all of your in-depth thoughts with regards to this new LEGO Movie Series. It is always interesting to find out various members' views and opinions.

On a side note, I am upset to discover that some sites out there, doctored my images... I clearly don't appreciate it... I am aware of which sites are doing this on purpose by removing my watermark and host it in your site and resources.. This is intentional and copyright violation of my work. I do not mind others using my images and host it, but clearly enough these sites did not ask my permission to reproduce any of such materials. This upset me greatly as no due credits is given for using it.

I didn't say that WhiteFang actually made a custom print on these products, did I?

To clarify, I did not use any custom prints or custom products in this review. The 3 robotic cyborgs were done by using existing LEGO parts to demonstrate the interchangeability.

I don't know what you mean when you say kids don't like robots. I loved robot figs when I was a kid, and if this year's Ninjago and Hero Factory sets are any indication, robots are still very popular with the young ones.

I still think robots are still cool with children these days. So, I don't think it is a sort of decline of popularity as well.

If it helps any much, I removed all of your pictures from the Brickipedia pages, which didn't have your logo... I don't go on there often, but you're very right. :classic:

Oh, thank you for helping. :sweet:

It is much appreciated. I didn't know that you are able to login to amend the content? I thought it is the control of the webmaster for pictures upload related.

My pleasure. Thanks for providing these fantastic reviews every series! :purrr:

Indeed, all you have to do is login, and making an account is free on Wikia. You should make one there just in case this happens again, so you can edit them out. Editing has a learning curve, but practice makes perfect.

Yes, very obviously.

Your review deserves being reposted, but it's sad to see few people had asked you. Maybe you have to put watermarks or custom bricks in these pictures in future waves.

I picked up 2 bags randomly at target yesterday, got panda man and business president. The quality of these new minifigs arent as good as previous series. On one minifig, one leg is shorter than the other. On the other one, the leg color is dull without the shine. Kind of disappointed.

My shakespeare was missing his quill

From memory Lego don't offer spare parts for minifig series

Mine too... at least via this review I know that he is supposed to have it.

The series has a very good selection of female figures, which is excellent, but I would like to see it closer to parity.

As for difficulty, I have no problem finding the figures I want, provided I have access to a significant quantity.

Adding ladies is a good improvement, but still it depends on the general selection of characters.

After watching the whole movie, the most bothering character to me seems to be Queen Marsha. She's not representing the Pirate, and there have been mermaids in CMF line. Though it's not bad to have a queen of ocean, she's more like from a regular CMF series but not a movie character, same fore Panda Suit Guy. I thought Queen Marsha could have more things to do when the protagonists fell into the sea.

Lincoln and Shakespear are also "fake building masters", though it's not too obvious because they're based on historical personalities, which make them more like "veterans".

Among the main characters, Wyldstyle looks most "exclusive" to this series. The Bad Cop was made to have an exclusive scribble face print, it's qualified though alittle deliberate. HHEmmet's helmet is used in the Benny's Spaceship with different prints, while Mr. Business's only difference is the expression.

The series needed a balance of main and background characters. I am THRILLED to have Lincoln and Shakespeare. The version of Emmet and Wyldstyle used here are very logical.

And the Scribble Face Bad Cop is amazing.

I need to track down Fusebot, i wasn't gonna get him, but I want to make a custom of Sam Shakusky, and I need the hat.

Actually, President Business has another difference I only noticed once I had both versions of him—his jacket is buttoned in Lord Business' Evil Lair, but open and unbuttoned as a CMF. It's a slight difference but a difference nonetheless.

I don't know if Hard Hat Emmet or Scribble Face Bad Cop have similar distinctions or not, since I don't have both versions of either to compare.

EDIT: I forgot I could use the amazing minifiguniverse.com! Scribble-Face Bad Cop has two main distinctions from his counterpart: one being the differing face prints (Both for his Good Cop and Bad Cop faces), and a less desirable difference—the CMF version has no back printing on his torso! Did President Business take the nail polish remover to that, too?

Emmet, on the other hand, only has the facial differences and of course the hard hat to distinguish him from his other appearances. His torso and leg printing are identical.

HHE has exclusive face prints, and SFBC has the exclusive scribble face and oddly enough, no back torso printing. The one in the Bad Cop Pursuit set has torso printing.
