Here we are, this is my first SoNE freebuild and I'd like it will be judge.

On Nar Eurbrikka, the rebel cell with the trooper Wedge09 is planning a mission in the north to recover a transmission control unit lost in the ice. Away from prying eyes, the squad is having the last briefing before the mission; while the trooper Wedge09, his command officer and another experienced soldier are having the briefing with the general in the upper floor, the other two members of the squad is preparing their equipment on the main floor.

For one reason or another, I love the layered dark bley tiles and plates on the ground. Very interesting choice, and it looks great. I think the bright red stickered crate sticks out a little too much, though — something dark red or dark green might've worked better to add some color.

Nice build, I like it! I think the building looks the best in the second pic with the bleys in the gate (if it is a gate that is!). In the first pic I find the building a little too... black! Some horizontal piping would probably help break up all the black in the wall.

The bottom interiors looks good with the barrels/engines and whatnot, the upper interior has a nice layout but personally I'd prefer it to be a bit smoother. The container with the stormtrooper & flowers sticks out a bit too much I think.

I don't mind using the Hoth rebel torsos and headpieces in a sand environment actually, but I think they would fit better without the white backpacks/hands.

Nice run-down feel to that street, and I love the spot of color in the otherwise sparse color palette :classic:

The broaken road surface is good, but I think I would have liked it more with a layer or two of tan plates in the gaps so the tiles would not have protruded so much.

I really like the building and the setting of the figs, my only complaint would have to be the fact that the rebels are wearing cold assault gear while the streets around looks so sandy.

Thanks Nom Carver; apart that I have only the Hoth rebel troopers, they are preparing for a mission in the north, therefore I think they aren't so "out" from the contest

Thanks Brickdoctor  The color's idea isn't bad, but the crate could be new, with the bright colors?

Thanks LegoFjotten :classic: I add the stormtrooper on purpose, to add something "different" about the minifig, interesting suggestion :classic:

Thanks Gideon  Interesting critics, I will take it in account

My only critic would be the choice of printed tiles. The Harry Potter Quibler, the John Hancock, and the Eiffel Tower really don't belong. The other points about the cold gear and the bright red box are valid too, though other than that this is an amazing build!

I like the ground style, makes for a very convincing old road, which fits well with the streetlamp, scaffold, and the old looking rear wall.

I laughed at the stormtrooper garden and the rebel's choice of daily reading :sweet:

I thought I already commented on this, but apparently I had not.

Anyway, I really like this build, the street look seems very plausible!

the interior looks fine too, but those colorful barrels are actually a bit to colorful compared with the rest.

what you might want to do next time is when you use hinge bricks, filling in all gabs completely, unless not appropiate (for junk e.g.), provided it is possible.

Also the house itself looks very clean and undamaged, while the street and the garage door look completely dirty or damaged (which is good of course  )

minor complaints, the overall looks very good.

Thaks MKJoshA, the tiles are the ones I have but I wanted to use them, in particular the John Hancock to add something different, to cath the eyes

Judges have awarded you 4 XP! Your character's stats will be updated shortly.

Thanks for XP :classic:

Thanks TWP, I will try to be beter next time, thanks for the tips
