BTW didn't the real Railjet Taurus have 3 pantographs? That needs a fix :D Please post more pictures, from the couplers for example! And if you have instructions for the engine that would be epic to have. I want to make a taurus cargo train.

This is superb! I travelled on the Railjet from Salzburg to Vienna earlier in the year with work and have to say its a fantastic smooth service, you have captured it just about as perfectly as you could do!

Are you sure of do not switc to 7w?

Well, truly said, the proper color could be maerks blue. Medium blue is not blue enough, traditional blue is too dark, however doors' colour is LEGO dark blue. So, not a cheap train. :)

And all of my trains are 8W, maybe un half year I'll have a 8W railjet ( ;) ), and all klub members building in 8W, 1:42. So no way to use 7W again. :D

Nice to see a come back of this post. I'm currently a bit away from Lego world and this is good for my mood. Thank you all in advance and a special mention for our well known and dear fellow LEGO train 12Volts who realized an improved version which involves the current PF motorization with its intrinsic problems of supply, driving motors, wirings etc. very different from the 9V easier solution.

I've suspected something like that since I saw your great club in action. So, waiting for news from you Donat.

ME Model large radius curves are nearly ready and I think those products are really suitable for 8W trains.

I agree that is a beautiful train but I'm not conviced that might be a candidate for a creator set. Both the Austrian and especially the Czech livery are very appealing but there are lots of trains which are more suitable for a successful set.

Moreover the railjet logos have a remarkable aspect in the final result. Yuo can not imagine how it's hard applying the Railjet thin logos. though once you've experienced some applications the trouble should turn easier. Not a skill for an average builder.

There is also a problem with a scheme livery line realized in "old" dark grey.

For what concerning instructions, I directly build my models therefore I can't share any construction plans... but who knows....may be that something come out

I don't really know how many pieces require this model in a 7stud solution. I can estimate over 5,000. Following a picture of the unusual solution of the bogies facing to a simplier solution of the Rheingold boogies.

RJ boogies requires lots of pieces, first tipe train wheels spinning into a 3mm hose and a not conventional coupler.

A beatiful 6W Taurus with a double decker coaches. An example that a regular 6 stud gets good result and another nice livery

CAT: for 6W looks really good, for the 9V motors there really interesting solutions builded.

Work from nesi: Oh Year, like the real interior :D for example WC and the round bar. Pretty cool!
