Covi Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 The bulky little freighter was almost completed. Only a few more parts have to be scavenged in this desert. Covi would be more then happy to leave this desolate place. Somehow even the smallest bunker on board of the Redemption would be more appealing then this little pagoda. And that snake soup.... Covi : "Mud, let me see again that design, so that we can leave this place as soon as possible!" Normally I would have included two more Rebels but latest change made that impossible. Those rebels would have had the scavenged missing part in their arms. Extra parts : Window and two 4x3 trans black clear for the freighter, some plants, a bucket and 4 columns for the pagoda. Quote
MKJoshA Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I really like the hut you built. And as always, your placement really makes the scene look good. I think the front of the freighter looks a little too blunt. I know it's supposed to be boxy, but it just doesn't feel quite right to me. Also, I think you need to add a list of extra parts. I know those plant pieces and bucket weren't part of the allowed sets :) Quote
MstrOfPppts Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Hahaha, what an interesting veehicle! It reminds me of the good old Renault GTL 4 - something like the rebels would use The build is nice and clean, a bit too clean though. I miss some wreckage and debris scattered around the baseplate. This place doesn't look like it's been through the sandstorm at all. Or were you there so long to have time to clean it all around your hut? Quote

The debris wasn't added because of the initial thought of extra minifigs in it and completely forgotten after the rule change. :-( Edited November 11, 2013 by Covi Quote
Rogue Angel Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 The Pagoda almost makes it seems like he's been living in style out here in the middle of the desert! Nice compact ship. Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 The scene is really nice. I like the details you managed to put in. Quote
Lego Spy Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Nice work! The only thing I'd question would be the green plants. I don't recall there being any plants on Tatooine... If someone proves me wrong I'm fine with that. Quote
