Yooha Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 (edited) Hi to all, I would like to present my own interpretation of a winter village market. It was hugely inspired by the official set in the meaning that there will be smaller stalls in it. I’m planning to post a new part of the project in every two or three days, since a have to finish it by 1st December.. Disclaimer: This project is NOT for the Expand the Winter Village Contest, since it is a digital one, and is completely independent from it. Candle stall This nice old lady sells candles and wreaths for the holiday season. The back wall can be opened. Edited November 15, 2013 by Yooha Quote
Andy D Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 (edited) Very clever! Nice addition to the Winter Village Market. What would it look like to have a couple of red elements in the garland in the front? Andy D Edited November 12, 2013 by Andy D Quote

The Dutch Guy Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Great. I love them. You did a wonderfull job on creating a real "Weihnachts markt" atmosfeer. I realy love it. Quote
Rick Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 These are great ideas for Expanding the Winter Village Market. I encourage you to build some of these in real bricks and enter the competition. Quote
BrickBloke Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Excellent work! Care to share the instructions? Quote
Yooha Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 These are great ideas for Expanding the Winter Village Market. I encourage you to build some of these in real bricks and enter the competition. I don't have the amount of bricks - providing they exist in those colors at all. Excellent work! Care to share the instructions? As soon as I get home, I will. Plan to build it IRL? Quote
jonwil Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Nice job on these designs, I like the way you did the tuba. Quote
Yooha Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 (edited) Nice job on these designs, I like the way you did the tuba. It is supposed to be a horn But maybe it's too big for it. Or big enough to be a tuba. Edited November 21, 2013 by Yooha Quote
Temet Nosce Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 I love it, looks just like my local christmas market. Quote
scottwb2010 Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 These are great stalls you've created Yooha. The make good additions to the market. Keep up the good work Quote
New_guy Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 I love your work and creativity. Thank you for sharing. You have inspired me to improve my own market set at home. You are probably making it difficult for people to enter the contest, since you are posting all these great ideas that are designed so well that they would be difficult to beat. LOL Quote
Kristel Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 These are fantastic Yooha! My favourite is the mulled wine stall. It would be great to see one of these as an entry to the Winter Village contest! Quote
Legogal Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Wow! Very nice ideas and designs. Trying to finish building our WV sets…they take forever to build and seem to be missing some parts, which makes the process even slower. It seems that the entire WV theme just jumped out of nowhere the past two years and is now a real winner for LEGO. The addition of many new add ons to the WV market setting will be exciting as we begin to interpret what WV means to each of us. Thanks for the contest and for the ideas folks are sharing now. An exciting time for WV! Quote
kevin8 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 The last one is fantastic. Great Job! Very inspiring! I love the boat and the dragon! Quote
Yooha Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 The last one is fantastic. Great Job! Very inspiring! I love the boat and the dragon! Thanks, I just noticed there is a flaw with the dragon: it has no tail! Quote
kevin8 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Unluckily Lego has never produced carrot top in red... :) Quote
