Scouty Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 As we were talking about it in the Battlefront II thread, we moved the discussion to this next gen game The Force Unleashed. All discussion for said game will be placed here for our eager wait till it's arrival in 2008, as I am told. :-) Quote
casewindu Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 that looks good. is that the one were on the advert the jedi uses the force to pick up a poor stormy, smash him against some crates then throughs him, and the crates, into an oncomming tie? if its that i cant wait for it! :-D Quote
Scouty Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 The pictures Vader just posted in the "TIE Army Thread" are drawings of the game, so yes, that is the one. Quote
Starwars4J Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Hm...I was wondering where he got those awesome pictures from Quote
Scouty Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 http://lucasarts.com/games/theforceunleashed/ This is to the official site of LucasArts. Here, from the Star Wars Wiki, is some more info: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Force_Unleashed_(game) I'm personally cyked for this game *sweet* Quote
Vader Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Seems you beat me to it IS in making this thread, guess this will stop me from hijacking the BF thread X-D ;-) Anyway as IS said i did get those pics in the Tie thread from this game, and i cant tell you how much im looking forward to playing it. Im really glad lucas has allowed Shaak Ti to be used as we never saw her death in ep 3, hunting her shall be fun indeed :-) Hmmmm perhaps this fella needs a place in the Tie Thread....... Quote
Scouty Posted April 3, 2007 Author Posted April 3, 2007 Hehee. Actually, Shaak Ti does die in Ep. 3, it's just not shown. Upon the rescue of the chancelor in the Battle over Corruscant, Shaak Ti goes to find which ship the Chancelor is on. She finds it, and is captured. Since General Grievous is on board the ship, Invisible Hand, I presume that General Grievous kills Shaak Ti for his love of killing jedi and collecting their lightsabers as trophies for his accomplishments. Star Wars Referencing on! The Force Unleashed on! the BF thread Which thread is that? Quote
Khorne Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 [...]Hmmmm perhaps this fella needs a place in the Tie Thread....... I'd rather have this girl on EB: Would be much nicer, not >:-) ? I can't wait for this game to be released. It just looks so friggin' awesome *sing* . IGN page.<--Lots of info here *y* . Quote

Actually IS it has been widly discussed that Shaak Ti does not die as seen in the deleted scene. Here is a quote from the star wars databank. Although her earlier death at Grievous' hands was completed and included on the DVD as a deleted scene, it should not be considered the canon version of her fate. This is because she is still visible later on in the movie as part of the Kashyyyk hologram. The deleted scene on the DVD, "General Grievous Slaughters a Jedi," should instead be considered an interesting look at what might have been. Fixed some tags for you :-P - Starwars4J Quote

Yep you are correct mutley, IS i think you need to get read more of the jedis fate :-P . Lucas decided that Shaak Ti should live and he also ordered that Quilon Vos be mentioned in the film. So from what ive read it appears that Vaders apprentice might not be a willing one, its written that he wears a restraining device to make sure he serves vader. Now it also appears that their keeping his name a secret so who do you guys reckon he is? Quote
White Lightning Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Wow, the art work for this game look really good, poor stormies, they look like they are getting badly hit! Quote

And this apprentice fellow is just a new, no-named Sith Apprentice. Most likely. Quote
Vader Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Ah! I see. Thanks for clearing up my wrongness X-D .And this apprentice fellow is just a new, no-named Sith Apprentice. Most likely. You could be right on that one, but i do find it strange as to why they would hide it this long. Usually we get a characters name first then pics, not the other way around 8- Quote
Scouty Posted April 5, 2007 Author Posted April 5, 2007 All the reason to make the game better. Give pictures, we survive over that. The name will come, soon, and by soon I mean in the game most likely X-D . Good way to create suspense and lots of it. Quote
Wout Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 I read somewhere on wikipedia that it was meant Shaak Ti to be killed by Anakin/Vader by the siege on the JediTemple. She was injured in the cartoons from Cartoon Network by Grievious and discoverd by Mace Windu. She was recovering from her wounds and then killed. Although I read something like that. But if she survived, I'll find it ok Shaak Ti on :-) Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 You know I was reading about this in a old issue of game informer! I love this game because of the huge boss fights they are developing! Such as = when you are going to fight shaak ti (I know I thought she died in the 3 movie too...) along with having to fight her she has some help with other jedi riding racors!!! This game is also going to be sweet because it sounded like they toke a hole lot of time developing the game so the enviroment reacts to whatever you decide to through at it, and plus also the enemies react to what you do too! - well, for once I guess that reading kinda paid off! :-D I just have to say this is going to be one BAD megablocks GAME!(IN THE GOOD WAY) Quote
Scouty Posted May 16, 2007 Author Posted May 16, 2007 Hey! Som new information on the voice actors of this game: Here! Well, we can know that Sam Witwer is the dark apprentice, but still no name!!! As well as Nathalie Cox playing for Juno Eclipse. EDIT: Also: This and This Absolutely AWSOME! [Watch for the flying R2-D2 at the end of the second link...HILARIOUS] Quote
zero1312 Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 I'm new in this topic. :-/ Can you guys give me a short tour what this game is all about? :-/ Thanks in advance! ;-) Quote

Piranha Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 This will surely be one awesome game I mean look at the real life effects they are putting in On wookiepedia they say the main charcter you play as is not a sith He must be powerful though to do force lightning and a wide array of other force moves Force Unleashed ON!!
