-JD- Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 I have done both endings, but on the dark ending they ccould have made the game longer while you serve the Emperor . Apart from that it is an awesome game. Could have different finishes for each bosss, like when you kill the rancors it is the same final move. Another few points. The graphics on Wii are no where near as good as PS3 , which has better force powers and awesome ways to kill stormies. Also on the Wii all the levels have a different stormie to the normal one, and on the last level they are the ones from OT. Is it the same on the other consoles? Quote
SWMAN Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 I really want to be able to play in on the 360 or PS3 just to be able to compare graphics. The Wii ones are not nearly as nice. I am saddened that I only have a Wii and not a better console. I was really excited about the graphics of the game and how things would react in the game after watching videos. After getting it for the Wii, I realized that all those videos were for better consoles. I really think that Nintendo should have made the Wii less of a family console where you can have bad graphics and lame games, and more of a 360 or PS3 console, with better graphics and more games. Still, the reason the Wii sells so well is that it is unique, so... Quote
CF Mitch Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Hello again, I'm having a kind of issue I can't seem to work out and I was hoping some of you could help me out. I'm in the last level, at the area where I have to align the three pulsarium rings... except I haven't the slightest idea how I searched several walkthroughsites, so I now whát to do, just not how... As you all know you have to use Force Grip on all three, but I can't figure out how to lock one ring, while Force Gripping another to hold that, and after that hold the last one... can anyone tell me how I am supposed to do that, as detailed as possible ? I guess it's all about finding the right controls, but after having tried for dozens of times, I've run out of things to think of so... Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance ! Greetings, CF W Quote
hewkii9 Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 You turn the rings one at a time - once the laser ends, run out, grab a ring, twist until it locks it place, grab the next, twist, grab, twist. Then run through, hide, and repeat. Quote
CF Mitch Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Alright, but how/when/where does it lock in place ? And how do I get notice of this, do you hear some sort of 'click' or what ? Thanks so far ! Greetings, CF W Quote
hewkii9 Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 If you can get a look at the rings while the laser is firing, it'll show you the position they need to be in. Just maneuver the rings with the sticks like any other thing you Force Grip - and I'm not 100%, as I haven't played that level for a while, but i believe it automatically lets go once you get it right. CF Mitch Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 (edited) Woohoo I did it Wow, thanks VERY much hewkii9 I now finally finished the game, I did the Jedi ending first. Damn that battle with Vader rocks, especially the end-sequence, where Vader gets brutally slaughtered. I can't wait to do the Sith-ending tomorrow Thanks again ! iamded Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Ah, finally managed to get my hands on a controller with this game running in the X-box 360! A truly magnificent game, living right up to my expectations. I love those lightning-saber combos, lots of fun. I never did get to throw my lightsaber through several trees and into a Wookie though. The finishing move combos are neat, much easier than in God of War, thank goodness, and always with a fantastic display of force powers. I still remember studying the interior of that AT-ST after I sliced it in half. The black lightsaber is an interesting idea, I still don't get how it works though. I like the addition of the unstable and compressed sabers, but I think damage bonuses or something unique to the different types (other than looks) could be neat. ~Peace Quote
hewkii9 Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 You're very welcome WeaZZel, happy to help And iamded, there are saber powerups, I think about 7 or 8. Off the top of my head, there's increased damage, increased lightning damage, less Force-intensive combos, health drain, and a few others. Quote
darkrebellion Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 (edited) Well I have a question about the "story" of the game and not the game itself so here is it: Why Darth Vader can use such powerful force powers in the tutorial level? I think he can Edited November 9, 2008 by darkrebellion Quote
pr0visorak Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 He wasnt able to do lightning, only force push. He cant do lightning as the electrircity from his hand would go through the glove electricuting himself. But force push can still be done. Take anakin skywwalker for example, he could still do force push with a robotic hand. The point is the force is like a soul and that all you need to have is your head so that you can still live and fight using the force. Quote
darkrebellion Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Thanks for the clarify pr0visorak. Even with force push, Starkiller has better force powers . Quote
pr0visorak Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Its not he has better force powers! It is the force is stronger with him! Not even yoda's one is stronger! Why so, well yoda took 999 years to master the force and is still learning and although his powers is somewhat equal to starkillers, starkiller is younger and since he is younger than yoda and is as strong as yoda! We can conclude than the force is stronger in Starkiller than in Yoda! :pir-skull: That was random! Quote
hewkii9 Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Well to be fair, three of the five movies he appears in involve him sitting around and discussing things, and the other two he just lightsaber duels. Looking at those two from a video game perspective, it seems like Yoda has more air combos than Starkiller could dream of. Quote

Looking at those two from a video game perspective, it seems like Yoda has more air combos than Starkiller could dream of. Well of course! He is small and his weight is therefore lesser allowing him to stay in the air longer. But even though StarKiller's force power is somewhat equal to Yoda's. Yoda shows more of it as he has a lot of training :pir-skull: Quote

-JD- Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I just got a PS3 with TFU, Motor Storm 2 and COD 5. On TFU I stabbed a stormie 20 times, electricuted him, and threw him down a chasm. GREAT FUN!!!! Gosh...I need help...... I die around twice on each level as I am not used to the controls (I had TFU on Wii before). I have a PS2 as well, but the graphics on Wii and the PS2 are quite rubbish. JD Quote
Justin2224 Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I got the game for teh 360 for Christmas and it was great, but there were a few things I didn't like to much about it. Too short, but it seems alot of new games are like that Your Lightsaber was to 'wiffel-batish.' You just go around bonking people around instead of slicing off whatever you touch, but you can impale The Force Repulse was cool, but I thought that it desinigrated your enemies The Star Destroyer battle was alittle too difficult. The TIEs came too frequently and after you finished them off again you had to level the Destroyer out again And lastly, you couldn't replay the prologue to get the acheivements without starting a new game But there were alot of good things about the game. I'll list five like I did the cons. The story, albiet short, was great The Euphoria was nice too. Stormies hangin for their lifes from rails, grabing eachothers legs. Its great. The Lightsaber duels were not too easy It was an overall fair game. The bosses had enemies come out so you could get health during the battles The graphics were wonderful. So overall it is one of the greatest games I've played in a long time. Quote
jifel Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I just rented it Friday night and beat it Yesterday. It was fairly challenging at times, but very fun and addicting.Unfortunately, I was so happy when I beat it that I forgot to save completely, si it got deleted. I didnt use any cheat codes or unlimited FORCE crap, and it was a very fun game. A little short though... And Force lightning was amazing! jifel Quote
simonjedi Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 sorry for the mega necro but new DLC for TFU is possible http://kotaku.com/5316340/new-star-wars-th...ew-achievements ucasArts may be ready to drop some new downloadable content for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, as five new Xbox 360 achievements have expanded not only the possible gamerscore, but the game's character roster as well. Warning, spoilers ahead. The five new achievements boost the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed achievement count from 1220—220 of those points added alongside the Jedi Temple Mission Pack DLC—to 1345 points. Thing is, LucasArts hasn't publicly announced that new downloadable content. But it appears it will soon. The spoiler-filled possible new additions to The Force Unleashed are after this. * And The Quarterback is Toast - Defeat Boba Fett * Skywalker Style - Meet Jabba and defeat his pet using the pit gate * No More Lies, Old Man - Defeat Obi-Wan, before and after he becomes more powerful than you can possibly imagine * Hot Bot - Use the hot irons three times on the Gonk Power Droid * Jawa Juicer - Crush 5 Jawas by using the grinder in the Garbage Processing Room From the description i think its the "Classic fight scenes with the OTT force powers" that was in the PSP version. Jabba's palace/sarlacc battle and the death star duel. Quote
