Lord Rahl of Clannad Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 I love it how the DLCs for LEGO games of late have always provided interesting bonuses, and clearly this game's DLCs are no exception. I'm confused about the 3rd one though. It seems to contain weapons and items of clothing. Does that mean weapons and clothing will be interchangeable to some extent outside of character customiser? Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Ha. LOVE the Baby Smaug. I'll probably be spending a lot on DLC for this one.... Quote
Clone OPatra Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Does that mean weapons and clothing will be interchangeable to some extent outside of character customiser? In LEGO Lord of the Rings you get a huge amount of accessories including clothing and weapons that you can access at any time during free play to use with whatever character you want. This probably works the same way. Quote

PenPlays Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 A few new DLC packs: *snip* Bottom of page three. Quote
just2good Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Bottom of page three. Whoops! I'm so off the ball today. Quote
Maniac4Legos Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Whoops! I'm so off the ball today. Why what's wrong? Also thanks for the images! Even though I already found the first one on Flickr through hothbricks and sent it to you and Connor. See justin? Been trying to find news! And use EB oh my gosh! Thanks for the news :) Quote
holywhippet Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 I've looked at a couple of places I can pre-order this from and I've also noticed the PC version doesn't come with any DLC from any place I've looked at. Pretty much every other version does. Would it be safe to assume the DLC will still be available on the PC? For that matter, how stable is the PC version of the lego games nowdays? I've had trouble with them in the past. Even Lego Marvel Super Heroes on the PS3 would lock up on me every so often. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I've looked at a couple of places I can pre-order this from and I've also noticed the PC version doesn't come with any DLC from any place I've looked at. Pretty much every other version does. Would it be safe to assume the DLC will still be available on the PC? LEGO Lord of the Rings for PC/Mac did not support DLC. On the other hand, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is a more recent game, and I believe that that one does have PC DLC. So I would say that there's a decent chance the PC version will have DLC this time around, but I wouldn't say that it's safe to assume it.Second post: some quick Googling alerted me to the fact that the entirety of There and Back Again will be DLC for this game. If that's the case, then I'd definitely think that DLC will be supported by PC, considering the significance and the size of the DLC. Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Ha, Wii U doesn't get DLC...betting the Wii U version will be $30. Quote
deskp Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I'll probably be spending a lot on DLC for this one.... The dlc like this never costs alot, and there isnt enough of it to make u spend alot. if the TABA stuff is sold as dlc then that a different story as that is like another small game in itself. Quote
bachamn Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Pre-ordered my copy for PS3 from Gamestop yesterday, all the while trying to hide the fact that I was more excited about the promo minifig than the game itself ;) Quote
CroGo Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Good news for the UK based forum members, Game.co.uk had another price drop for the PS4 version of the game with the BB minifig, the price is now £39.99, down from the original £49.99! http://www.game.co.uk/en/lego-the-hobbit-videogame-with-bilbo-baggins-minifigure-only-at-game-270379?pageSize=20&searchTerm=Lego%20hobbit%20ps4&catGroupId= Quote
kevkipo Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I just pre-ordered the game Sadly no DLC and no BB fig But still it is for the game! Here in the NL you never get any Fig with it Quote
Cammo Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Any clue where the Bilbo Baggins figure is a pre-order exclusive in Belgium/The Netherlands? Usually Game Mania gets hold of it (Batman, LotR, Marvel & TLM) but this time they don't mention it on their website. Quote

???theriddler??? Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 It's already out in 12 days. This is really weird. Almost no advertising for this game. Still looking forward too it though! Quote

Well, they intend on coasting on the marketing for DOS on home media. The bluray for DOS includes trailer for the game aswell. Besides we're due for a launch trailer this coming week. Most of the lego games have weird marketing, hobbit game already got a demmo out so yeah. Quote
Cammo Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) The Achievement list has been posted: http://www.trueachie...chievements.htm It gives you an idea what the 16 levels are. And the release trailer is released in English as well: Edited March 31, 2014 by Cammo Quote
Floundie Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 For those who don't live near Gamestop or anywhere you can get the fig, TRU (In Canada at least) has a rather good deal on: Too late for me though. Quote
