First off, I don't know how to make a poll, so if someone could tell me... So, I build MOC police and fire stuff, and I can't decide whether I should plan to make an airport station. I will not actually be building the station, only the rigs to go inside. Also, this is only voting for plans. That means that these may never be built, but it also means that these are one step closer to being built.

Vote in replies, voting ends Nov 30. You can check out my Engine 1 on my MOCpages. I will post it here later, but I need to get some pieces to update it. You can look at the pre-update version on MP, but I will post the new one here, later.

UPDATE

This forum will stay open, but I have decided that I am going to add ARFF to my station plans. I may also be adding another station to the works.

UPDATE

Added Special Operations, moved Crash 1 to Spec ops, changed HazMat 1 into a trailer, and added a forest station. I will not have a station, but only ARFF units.

I'd go with the engine 4 just because I'm partial to Pierce fire apparatus. E-One is garbage in my opinion have no idea how they got the Boston fire contract...whoops little tangent I went off on there.

E-one apparently have returned to a more basic, classic look for their crashtender. These "old" beasts look way more modern to me:

This last firetruck you pasted jkbat really looks like the coming set! Maybe bickmanJ should go with this set and try to mod it! (and reduce scale if 8 studs large is too big for him).

This is what I am going to do for my town airport!

Are you going to be building an actual Fire Station to house them in BrickmanJ? As the links are only to vehicles to vote from

No, I don't actually build the physical station, only the rigs. You vote yes or no for the station.

Everybody, this is voting yes or no. You can say what your fav rig is, but you vote yes or no for the station. This is not actually for a station, I don't build those, but the rigs inside. If you vote for your favorite rig, then I'm counting that as a yes. Voting closes on Saturday, November 30.

Do you really expect anyone to disagree with you building a couple of airport firefighting vehicles? Judging by the reactions so far, people are looking forward to seeing your builds, so I'd say: get building and show us what you come up with.

Well, good point, but as I am going to say (I'm from the future (it didn't save)), this is only plans, so that means I might never build these, but it also means that it is one step closer to being built.

Thanks, but how did you do that? I can't seem to do it.

No worries :classic: you just highlight the word you want the link to be then click the 'link' button, then paste the link in the box  easy as pie

I must admit though, I'm a bit confused about the vote now... Are we voting whether we want you to build the station...? Or vehicles...?

Ok. So. We are voting for plans to build all of the rigs. As I've said, I don't build stations. So, we are voting for the rigs, but all of them. It is yes or no, not Engine 4 or Crash 1. You get it now?

Now, I don't think they're junk, but when I learned Oshkosh had ARFF, I jumped to it.

The Oshkosh Striker is awesome. My kids and I got to climb in one at EAA Airventure a couple of years ago. There have been some great television episodes that cover the Striker. If you get a chance, check out the 'Richard Hammond's Crash Course' episode that aired last year. There was also a 'Dirt Every Day' episode where they take a Striker off-roading. Fun stuff.
