Looks like K'nex finally realized that their fancy 'tinkertoys' just weren't fun to play with. They're giving up and adding lego-style bricks.

I'm amused by how in the past Lego did this the other direction, with Z'nap and found that same lesson...

Well, Megablocks is one thing to me (At least they have some interesting stuff and good pieces), and I don't blame them for using the concept. (The one thing I actually agree with Calvin on! X-D )

But this, this is way too far. I mean, look at these new hybrids! Complete utter crud, with horrible colors, lousy designs, and no use for any serious fans (who wants to combine their lego collection with K-nex?). :-X

Bah, Knex is okay, especially for really big models (I have some Knex myself!), but this is just pointless and will undoubtedly do nothing to help Knex and its sales. :-|

To be honest, this is just business. Yeah, it's a ton of megablocks ( ;-) ) but there's not a lot we can do about it unless it's directly copying lego.
