Fairly obvious ... few questions:

1. What technic set(s) you're planning on getting for the holidays.

2. Will you be spending the time-off building a new set or MOCing?

3. Neither, will be sorting/cleaning/arranging my huge parts list

4. Gonna read and comment on ALL Technic Threads on EB (Really???)

5. Something else ...?

Well. Last year I was able to get good few Sets, but I dont know about this year. I am sort of broke. :(

If I will manage to get few quid together then I want to get a second 4x4 Crawler for pure RC mocing about. The one I got already is my Display Pice and I love it a lot!

i will be working. I have no holiday.

and i hope i get soms Nice sets. I have a wanted list , actually my wife has IT and she surprices me.

Greetings

I've been out shopping my christmas presents with my fiance (needen some carrying help :P)

You'll love 9396 ... I'm still debating whether I should get 42009 ...

Got 9396 for myself but will let my son put it together over Christmas break. Also have a Unimog that is not put together so we will put that together also. Bought some power functions and rc stuff so we will experiment with that.

I sent my wife a list this week with some suggestions, what I don't get given I will buy for myself.

42007 - Motor Cross Bike

9392 - Quad Bike

9394 - Jet Plane

9395 - Pick up Tow Truck

I'm sort of broke as well - too much sets once every while. If I see a good deal over the holidays (eBay, garage sale, flea market etc...) I'd fetch something. But now set plans whatsoever.

For this Christmas i may get 8109 Flatbed Truck, if i can find it, but beside that nothing. I already got some little (8285, 8258, 42000) sets this year.

1. I hope someone give me the set 9396 Helicopter.

2. I'm about to complete an alternative model of set 8110 Unimog (MOC), complete with instructions.

3. No, indeed, I have to sell a few pieces.

4. I think I have already read all the threads :)

5. Can't wait for 42025 Cargo Plane!!!

I bought a 42009 off craigslist misb for 100 bucks, have another deal for nearly 25 pounds of technic pieces, will have to see if that happens... I've told the wife she has to buy me the unimog bc i'm thinking it will be discontinued soon.

I'm waiting patiently for christmas to open my 42009. Just got the 42000 and 42007 at the vip open house last weekend, so now I have a complete collection of 2013. I don't know if that will be the case in 2014. Sets like the triple construction set and hotrod don't appeal to me.

2-3 weeks of holiday for me.

1. No set.

2. Maybe some MOCing but not much.

3. No sorting, no cleaning.

4. gonna read a few new comments, this forum is not so fast going

5. spending time with the big family, chilling, playing board games or not, eating like crazy, etc.

To sum it up: the holidays will not be about Lego for me.

I spent about $75 on parts for my 42009 to make the extended boom from the Techlug.net forums and add a few more details to give it a more polished look.

I planned not to buy any Lego this year for christmas, but when I was shopping last weekend and saw the crane for 155€ in the shop I could not say no :)

So my Christmas will be for sure quite yellow ;)

1. What technic set(s) you're planning on getting for the holidays.

Still have the 41999, 42000 and several smaller sets unopened, but I am tempted to buy one of the 2013 sets to write a review.

2. Will you be spending the time-off building a new set or MOCing?

Due to two upcoming reviews I haven't found any time to work on my EV3 Wheel-e MOC. Hope to find some time to make some progression.

3. Neither, will be sorting/cleaning/arranging my huge parts list

Not this year anymore

4. Gonna read and comment on ALL Technic Threads on EB (Really???)

Been there, done that :wink::tongue:

5. Something else ...?

Hoping to get a new DLSR, so experimenting and shooting pictures!
