Posted November 27, 201311 yr The Harkel-Walker, or the Egg-shaped Steam-powered Moustache Walker, is engineer Jonathan Achemus's personal form of transport. It strides around to country with long waddling steps from adventure to another. It might be hard to believe, but this was originally going to be a Vic Viper for Novvember, but I came out as a walker for Movember. As a extrabonus, farmer club's bandit bingo offers a free steampunk figbarf. Enjoy! More pictures on Brickshelf and more detailed backstory on Cyclopic Bricks. C&C welcome.
December 1, 201311 yr I don't like Steampunk. But your walker looks pretty elegant. I like the colour scheme, its feet, and your realizations of steam :)
December 1, 201311 yr The knee and ankle joints are fantastic! I'm also loving the bearded Cyclops in your sig!
December 1, 201311 yr Very unique and fun MOC. The building of the legs is amazing, it's like a steampunk AT-ST for extraordinary gentleman:D
December 1, 201311 yr I really like the way you use those turn-table top plates to hold the leg joints together.
December 2, 201311 yr Very clean and very detailed creation (legs and feet are nicely done) Edited December 2, 201311 yr by Fabz
December 3, 201311 yr That leg design is..well, it looks pretty damn awesome. The left-most (when seen from the front) fig is a nice combo of parts, too.
