colmoore Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 That's beautiful. Love the way you have used minifigs & mini dolls, the colours are great too. Well done :) Quote
Kristel Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 This is great! I like how you did Santa's chair. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 I Santa's chair and the blend of minifig and minidoll figures......good luck and Brick On 'Bricksky' ! Quote
NoEinstein Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 The gold on the chair really makes it shine. I also get why the parents have to pay big bucks for the photograph, that chair has to be paid for . On a curious note, what is the purpose of the dark red tile on the stand? Is it a cash register/ticket printer so you can get your photograph later on? Good luck in the competition! Quote

TheLegoDr Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 This is exactly my idea for the contest, but you executed it way better than I could have. Looks great! You'll have my vote. Quote
Andy D Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) Excellent! The best yet! This world make an excellent Christmas set add-on to the Winter Village. Good luck in the contest. (I see first place here) Andy D Edited November 28, 2013 by Andy D Quote
Bricksky Posted November 28, 2013 Author Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) Thanks for all of your generous and kind feedback. I will be making a few adjustments and posting updated photos in a week or so (I'm waiting on a Bricklink order from Europe). The the purpose of the dark red tile on the stand was really just suppose to represent a "Wait Here" / "Line up Here" type of sign post, but I don't have a printed tile for that. I like the idea of a printer or cash register, so I'll have to put some more thought into that detail... Merry Christmas everyone! Edited November 28, 2013 by Bricksky Quote
Mutant Orc Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Wow I love that chair!! I have saved this link into my favorites so as I can come back for inspiration later- Thanks!! Quote
Ajax Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Very Cute, I like the way the Friends animals blend with regular Lego in this set, they are starting to grow on me! One thing I noticed is the little boy with the teddy has big breasts (man boobs maybe) Quote
LukeWarmTea Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I really like this set, it's simple but elegant. The different figs aren't obtrusive and the clean colour scheme means while it's a busy set, it's not overwhelming. Well done! Quote
timmyc1983 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Great entry and I think a bit of a bench mark. I'm not sure mine will compare very well to this So many details yet everything seems so simple. I think the chair is the highlight for me... Great entry and good luck! Quote
NoEinstein Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 The the purpose of the dark red tile on the stand was really just suppose to represent a "Wait Here" / "Line up Here" type of sign post, but I don't have a printed tile for that. I like the idea of a printer or cash register, so I'll have to put some more thought into that detail... Thanks for the answer. It makes sense to have that. There is no space on mine so I bet there are quarreling parents out of my camera's view . Maybe to improve on the wait here, add a chain to make it more obvious? Dang I pitched an idea to the competition again . Quote
fireknight Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Really great set, the only shocker is that the elves are charging a hundred bucks for the visit with Santa. Maybe Lego should make some smaller bills? This should be the 2014 Xmas Set from Lego ....hint hint Quote
Cara Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Very nice! It conveys exactly what its meant to be. Quote
wonderpuddle Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Very well done. Love the use of the Friends deer here. Good luck in the contest! Quote

Legogal Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Nicely done! Cool throne and use of figures. Every WV needs one of these! Quote
Bricksky Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Thank you to everyone who has commented so kindly. I am flattered that you are enjoying this entry so much. I just replaced the photos as I finally received 2 new friends dolls with Winter Attire. Quote
sgeureka Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 I like the unobtrusive mixing of Friends and City, Santa's chair, the camera+stand. This cute entry makes me smile in a heart-felt way. Quote
