sam89 Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 I didn't find it particularly unenjoyable. The only part I didn't really like was building the wings twice, but it wasn't that bad, and I thought the body was fun. Quote
Vader Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Well it wasnt as bad as building the AT-AT i hated building those 4 legs. Quote
jonfett Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Wait till you get the ISD, I think I am correct in saying you have to build one section 18 times!! :oo That is one of the reasons I do not have this set yet.. that plus the fact I don't have enough money! :P Jon. Quote

Yeah, it's more fun if you buddy up with someone (me and my dad built it). It's magnificent, though. Oh, speaking of my dad, he found the LAST ARC-170 in an Argos in the middle of London. HOORAY! Quote
mutley777 Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 i picked up 2 arc's in my local argos in epsom on friday and they still had 4 left in stock after that. Quote
jonfett Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 I ordered mine online as my local Argos is still out of stock of both the tie and the arc fighter :| Jon. Quote
dunamis Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Wal Mart, K-Mart, Target & Toys R Us had clearance on a bunch of sets: X-Wing, Snowspeeder, Millennium Falcon and Cantina. I heard some Falcons were going for $55. I personally picked up the snowspeeder for $7 and the Cantina for $10. Some people reported buying the X-Wings for $18, but I never heard $10. I also picked up the HailFire Droid at Fry's Electronics for $15. They had a ton of them... Quote

Cutty Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 And I thought the toystore I frequent was cheap (having a regular 20% off price-policy on Lego), but you guys definitly have access to gorgeous steals. I mean what's with X-Wings for 10$ if it's like more than 70 Quote
Darth Drew Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Just to let people know that many of these great deals are not available everywhere in the US. I have not seen them yet. Quote
Orlego Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Just to let people know that many of these great deals are not available everywhere in the US. I have not seen them yet. Well they were a few weeks after Christmas. Most of the deals are over now and sales were not the same at all stores. Two Wal-Marts by my house had different prices on the X-wings and many other sets. The three Wal-Marts by my job had everything marked 50% off. These deals go very fast so you have to get in on them ASAP. Quote
Jipay Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 well it's normal for germany not to have any discount onlego sets since you don't have megablocks yet :/ Quote
ApophisV Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Actually we HAVE discounts, but they are either a) ridiculous or b) only high %'s at the smaller sets... |-/ EDIT: @ Orlego: I'll PM you the next days because of the SW/Spidey sets... Edit by Orlego: Great thanks! Quote
The Middleman Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Yeah, I went to two Wal-Marts in Raleigh, nothing. No deals. And no JSF&VD. Quote
ApophisV Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 I got the new 2005 catalogue today... And it's really true: Germany will see the Jedi Starfighter in late April or may.... :'( That is so sad..... :( Quote
ApophisV Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Hm, it's available at S@H... But 25 Euro..... :( Quote
ApophisV Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 And the new X-Pods aren't even mentioned in the catalogue..... :'( Quote
MattZitron Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 But I'm sure nice Eurobrickers will sort you out. Quote
Jipay Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 And the new X-Pods aren't even mentioned in the catalogue..... :'( You should place an order to me while Im still in Canada. I can have cheaper prices on almost every sets, including the ISD. *satis* Quote

May 1-31 - Albertsons - Free mini Ep.3 Jedi Starfighter with purchase of (2) 12 packs or (1) 24 pack of any Pepsi Cola products and (2) bags of any Frito-Lay products. Not anywhere else. :/ :') :') :') Quote
OOM-30 Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Is the Tie Interceptor going to be the same one from Japan, but in a different box, or something? Are they going to be in boxes or bags? Will the TRU ones going to be available off Amazon? Will they release Boba's Slave I in the US too? When will I stop asking so many questions? I am wondering if I should attempt to get these, or wait and get them on like ebay or something. Also, about the boba fett one, I am ondering if i should wait and not get the kabaya one(when i hae a chance) or I should go ahaid and do it. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Great news, especially when you DONT live there :-D When will Europe learn that WE are ALSO Lego fans and custumers even if the market is smaller >-| . Anyway I would love a couple Tie Interceptors!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
snefroe Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 When will Europe learn that WE are ALSO Lego fans and custumers even if the market is smaller >-| . i'm not even sure that our market is smaller... Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 That would make it even worse :-D Having a not so small market and having no Lego promotions whatsoever ;) Quote
