Still a lot of members living in USA doesn't include that in the adress, I guess because USA is the default country in the world?!

Well this is AmeriBricks after all...

I'm probably one of those that forgot to include that...

Steve

If the President of the US won a raffle it would be:

Barack Obama

1600 Pennsylvania Ave

Washington, DC 20006

USA

That is for the AmeriBricks users that need the help.

I'm in the U.S. too. Sorry....

But not everyone knows the correct format for international mail so it's best to have your PM display exactly as how it should be displayed on mail and packages. In USA it's

NAME

ADDRESS 1

ADDRESS 2 (ie apartment or something)

CITY, STATE, ZIP

COUNTRY (optional if shipping within USA, required if outside USA)

Did everyone skip lessons in second grade when they wrote letters?

Isn't it that for international mail, you have to signal the country, and after that, the address is usual, as for an inland mail? After all, the exact address is only important for the postal workers in your own country after the mail could find your coutnry. So I indicated my address (apart from the country) as usual and not as an "international" address. Providing that an "international" address type even exist.

EXCEPT... that the raffle instructions specified how to PM your details. They said: your name on one line. Then, your address on one line. Then, your country on one line. "It's best" to do what you're told!

Address-writing convention is irrelevant to your PM. Your mail will be addressed appropriately, but the instructions didn't say "type out your address in 5 line format"...

I am confused....is it right now? I wrote:

My name

My street with number

My city with postal code

My state

I think:

Your Name

Your adress apart the country

Your country

See #250 or #252

(Who would thought it will be such an issue :classic: )

I used to trade Star Trek Customized Game Cards internationally so I had plenty of experience. Fortunately there were people that advised me on international addresses and there are websites that are useful too. In this day and age, very few of us send international mail.

Relax guys, I got want I need! Will start preparing the packages this weekend!

Has anyone received there prizes yet?

Has anyone received there prizes yet?

No.

Has anyone received there prizes yet?

as far as we know, copmike hasn't even send the prizes yet. patience my friend. copmike has to manage sending the prizes to many different country and address, so it's quite a work.

That's fine, I didn't mean to sound pushy, I was just curious. :)

@CopMike: don't forget to add your own address, so we can send something back

I think it would be awesome to see all the winners on one global map to get an idea how all prices will part out over the world. ;-)

You can check all the winners, and make a statistic, but unfortunately not everyone's nationality is given here.

I´ll will post when the next batch hits the post office. The day 23rd extra winners will be a bit later, still doing random street muggings to gather up those figs!

Hello CopMike,

I just wanted to drop you a note. Since the raffle, my father has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. I've been spending most of my time taking care of him, and with money being tight, I haven't had much money for LEGO. I just helps keep my mind of the troubles. Thank you again.

Hey buddy, don't know what this means to ya but I'll say a prayer for you and your family.

^ I agree. You'll be in my thoughts. It's nice there are people like CopMike and raffles like this to keep people's spirits up.
