Things begin to settle down and eventually the troupe of Mercutio's smile take their bows. All the Nords applaud before returning to their barracks for the evening. Mirona and Nelvin setup a few tents for everybody and a small fire to cook some food around. Night time soon comes and the heroes and troupe are left to themselves.

Baradock squats beside the fire, putting his hands out to take in the warmth. "So no we just do the breaking out an--" Baradock caught himself as he noticed Cinna and Purpearl approaching with a burly figure out of the corner of his eye. He got up quickly, turning to face them. "Who is he?" He asked bluntly, faintly pointing to the viking.

Surprised by Baradock's words, Cinna looks around at the team and circus.

"I don't see anyone but ourselves. How much of the Nord's mead did you borrow?"

Addressing the group as s whole and speaking in hused tones, she continues.

"If we time it right, I think we can do the grab and get out while the guard is away. It seems he is gone for an hour on his rounds before checking back in. Will we have difficulty leaving, as we did entering? It would be simple to hide him in a wagon, I'd think. Probably we should do it in the morning and then it wouldn't seem so strange when we leave. The building Purpearl and I checked out was loaded with barrels of weapons, it would not be wise to try and fight these men."

Baradock's eyes pierced into the night, "I could have sworn..." He squatted back down with a gruff grunt. The overwhelming weight of fatigue suddenly pushing down on him. "You are right. They will be the suspicious if we are missing and so is the prisoner." He shifted his weight somewhat. "Besides, I am tired."

Purpearl looks around the outpost, surveying the surroundings (gate, walls and watchtowers) for any Nords before joining the group at the fire.

After taking in Cinna's words, Purpearl nods in agreement as she sits on the icy ground. Purpearl starts to feel the chill as the ground starts to take the heat away from her. She moves and sits closer to the fire.

Pupearl notes a Nord on each of the walls.

Seeing the elf retreat into a tent Baradock lazily shambled to another. He slackly waved his hand dismissively before ducking behind the drapes. "Oy..." He grumbled as he assumed an odd hunchback position to fit the low hanging tent. He began at his boots, tugging at them until he tossed them into the corner of the canvas. Now, much more comfortably sitting down he stripped himself of his combat gear and armor. In time he was in nothing but his trousers; his clothes packed into a unorganized pile. Lying on his side he began drifting off to sleep. *Natural Respite*

Matthias settles in near the fire, planning to stay awake for the first watch.

"We should set up watches throughout the night and whoever is on watch just before dawn can get us up to grab the prisoner and make our escape," he whispers to Cinna and the others still there.

"[Exactly what I was thinking. These guys are raiders, who's to say they won't attack us in the night. I'll take first watch with you.]"

The party heads off to sleep, Cinna and Matthais take the first watch till about 1am. Nothing eventful happens, the Nords rotate the guards at that time, but no one approaches the party. Boris cracks open an eye before whispering from where he lays.

"All's quiet so far?"

Posted

"[so far so good. We'll get up just before daybreak and take care of everything.]"

Cinna answers Boris in a hushed tone and then awakens Purpearl and Dreyrugr and speaks to them in the same quite whisper.

"[Time for second watch. Wake us just before daybreak, be sure to watch for the guard to enter the jail building, wake us then or as you see him heading there.]"

With that she gets some much needed shuteye.

"No problem" said Purpearl in a hushed tone as she rolled up her bedroll and brushed and tidied her hair before making her way out of the tent.

Sitting by the campfire with Dreyrugr for the second watch, Purpearl keeps an eye on the Auxiliary building while staying vigilant.

Purpearl walks towards the tents and awaken the rest of the companions.

"It's time, the guard has just stepped out of the Auxiliary building. We have one hour to sneak into the Auxiliary building, relocate our prisoner from the building to the wagon undetected, and smuggle him out of here before anyone finds out he's gone.

I'm thinking maybe one or two of us should go into that building, won't be ideal if the whole lot of us gather in front of the Auxiliary building. Maybe we can also disguise him as one of us, so the guards wouldn't suspect anything when we relocate him from the building to the wagon." says Purpearl in a hushed tone.

Purpearl turns to Boris, again speaking softly,

"Would you be able to disguise him as one of us?"

"'Twould tax my ether reserves, my lady, but I think I could swing it."

"[That's a good plan, Purpearl. How about Dreyrugr and Boris go to fetch him, do you want to go too or do you think that's too many? Should be fine with 3. The rest of us can wait here on guard and help or appear to help the group pack up to go. Perhaps our packing up will distract the other guards enough.]"

"T'is a good idea to distract the guards while we save him. Dreyrugr, Boris and I can go together. Dreyrugr can lead the way, since he's most familiar with the place."

"Boris at least has a roguish air about him, I'd advise against you coming along unless you are confident in your sneaking. As for getting there it's pretty straightforward, go into the auxiliary building and you're there, nowhere to get lost."

"Alright then, godspeed" and Purpearl helps with the packing up.

"Ok then."

Dreyrugr turns to Boris, "Hope you're ready to break out a prisoner." Dreyrugr moves along with Boris to the auxiliary building whilst using his roguish skills to remain hidden.

Baradock just now emerges from his tent, having to change into his regular combat gear, rubbing his eye vigorously. Using his almost trademark lazy wave of the hand he greets the party without making any actual eye contact before kneeling to the ground. Lifting some of the more heavier supplies. "I feel our luck is almost doing the running out." He said through a strained tone as he heaved circus gear onto the wagon. He must've heard the plan through the thin tent material as he was changing into his gear.
