Can we get a tally of who is where so it can be verified and strategized? Are we fighting JUST the armies, or are we going PC vs PC again?

Again, everyone needs to choose their side beforehand. Everyone but Dyric is with the orcs currently.

Everyone who has chosen a sided is aligned with the orcs.

Potentially both, depending on how the battle goes. Once again, everyone needs to have a side before the mechanics can be explained.

Friends, drink, a comfortable home... but what's the point? I've been thinking long and hard, I'd like to see this one through. I think it's just Hoke and Dyric, but I may have miss read his intentions.

Seeing all the heroes moving toward siding with the orcs, Hoke standing alone, Nerwen speaks up.If we all side with the orcs, why not just let them cross and destroy the High kingdoms. Was nothing I said about the folly of such a move heard.

I do not want either side to cross, but at the end of the day I know who must be removed from the Kingdoms leadership to bring about a more peaceful outlook. I cannot say the same about the orcs. Their heedless charge must therefore be checked by main force.

Though I swear I will not lift weapon against any heroican.

"That is a sound plan. If we hired by Hewyrt, and you hired by the Orcs could side with their perspective 'allegiances,' then mayhaps split the group traveling with the circus folks. It only makes sense to have a solid defense on both sides else-wise the bridge may collapse on all of us."

So that's Guts, Haldor, Dyric, Thormanil, Alexandre, Purpearl, Dreyrugr, Baradock, Matthias, Benji, Tesni, and I'll assume Cinna and Alexis because of majorities in their party for the orcs, Hoke, Nerwen, and I'll assume Jess because of tied majority and being initially hired by the Kingdoms for the Kingdoms. Guts is the party leader.

The heroes have chosen their sides. On the opposite banks, disturbances seem to be building in the opposing armies. The time for attack is near.

The heroes may station themselves on any one of the five main inner sections of the bridge at the start of the battle, but then it takes one round to travel from one section to another - this goes for enemies as well. Heroes can fight any adjacent force from the front row. Ranged fighters can fire across one area to attack an area two sections away, and take damage from the back row. This means melee heroes cannot outright fight from the back row. They can still retreat to the back row to heal themselves or throw bombs from the back row. Clerics can only heal heroes in the same section as them, and items can only be used on other heroes if they are in the same section.

Each hero gets to decide where they start, barring the Kingdom and Orc territories.

Kingdoms Territory (Cannot be moved into, Kingdoms spawn here)

Each enemy side begins with ten units in their territory. They will automatically spawn a new enemy at the end of each round, in addition to replacing any deceased ones, in their territory. If there are no standing heroes in the adjacent section, enemies will move forward a section instead of dealing free hits.

The battle ends either when the two opposing sides overrun the heroes and meet eachother, when one side has been run out of reinforcements and the other overruns the heroes, or when both sides run out of their set number of reinforcements. If the former takes place, the side that currently has control of the central watchtower will be considered victorious, and overrun the bridge. However, if neither side has control of the tower, and all the heroes are knocked out, they will clash inside the central watchtower, and the bridge will collapse.

The heroes fighting for the High Kingdoms will be considered victorious if the High Kingdoms soldiers overrun the bridge. The heroes fighting for the orcs will be considered victorious if the orcs overrun the bridge. Both sides will be considered victorious if both enemies run out of reinforcements.
