With his borrowed bow he doesn't think he can even scratch the heavily armored knights moving forward, so he starts shooting horses. The ranger starts with Cassandra's horse and then the Sons' horses.

Any hero on the east border who does not submit an order moves west, and if they have an action remaining, attacks Bastala. Given how quickly Guts has been slaughtering everyone and they're now out of reinforcements, anyone who wants to stay on that side can submit an action and do so. She itched to confront him but was needed here. She also wanted to dissuade the others from attacking David, but David surely knew what he was doing in battle and besides, Valentino, holed up in the central tower could speak up for his son if needed, that's what fathers were for.

The only reason I left the multiplier out and just listed it as darkness damage because it doesn't affect Bastala and thus you're not really dealing 176 to every enemy you hit. It was all accounted for.

It did, I listed it as dealing 49x2 darkness elemental damage, which I took into account with enemies weak against darkness. It's not a given now since Bastala's not weak against it.
