Waterbrick Down Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) (Hoke 176 damage to everyone but her?) QM Note: Hoke dealt lightning and darkness elemental Damage, Bastala is an Ethereal Humanoid, therefor she takes neutral damage from darkness and non-elemental damage. # immunities cancel out # weaknesses, in this case she has 2 immunities (lightning and darkness) and 1 weakness (darkness) meaning she took 0 Damage. During the previous round she had 1 immunity (darkness) and 1 weakness (darkness) hence the damage was neutral. Seriously? Well Okay whatever Thanks for the quest then. If you don't allow the time for strategy... QM Note: Glups decision was made after your suggestion, therefor fault lies with whomever is controlling Glup, not the QM for not allowing you time for strategy. Scorpiox Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Haldor fell to his knees and spat blood. "Get... me up. I have a... cosmic essence."
StickFig Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) QM Note: Glups decision was made after your suggestion, therefor fault lies with whomever is controlling Glup, not the QM for not allowing you time for strategy. Yeah, that was definitely my bad. I missed the suggestion for Glup to throw the bomb and quite honestly I forgot she had them. Is there any way Matthias can act to pick up her bombs and throw them? Or pick up essences to use on the owners of said essences? Edited April 19, 2014 by nstickney
CMP Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Is there any way Matthias can act to pick up her bombs and throw them? Both heroes have to be standing in order to trade items, and you'd have to be in the same section anyway.
StickFig Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Both heroes have to be standing in order to trade items... Rats.
swils Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 For megablocks' sake, please pay attention. I know it's a big battle and can get confusing, but that was a huge throw of a round. Thormanil throws an Ice Bomb at the Kingdoms' Territory. "Jess or Dreyugr, get Haldor on his feet NOW."
Capt.JohnPaul Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Repeat. "I almost got these two down! Should somone go help the other end of the bridge? They seem pretty desperate. "
UsernameMDM Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 (I understand the ethereal part, just making sure the humanoid enemies are dealt 176 damage. That is correct?)
Waterbrick Down Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) (I understand the ethereal part, just making sure the humanoid enemies are dealt 176 damage. That is correct?) QM Note: Yes they were dealt 176 Damage Edited April 19, 2014 by Waterbrick Down
Purpearljellyblob Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) "Maybe Benji could move to the front and use his Phoenix Incense to revive all at the front. If he falls, someone can use an Essence on him." Purpearl turns to Thormanil, "Save that bomb of yours, I will use a Party Bomb instead." "Matthias, I suggest you attack Cassandra's Horse twice." Purpearl chucks a Party Bomb into the Kingdom's Territory and retreats back to the Central Tower. "Let's hope some of them are stunned by the fireworks. Nelvyn, you are an Angel of Death, we would appreciate you being extra lethal this time round." Nelvyn attacks Prince David and Cassandra's Horse. Edited April 20, 2014 by Purpearljellyblob
swils Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) Wait a tick. In the battle results, it says that General A was KO'ed, but he's listed as one of Dreyugr's and Dyric's targets later on, and then deals a free hit as well. Edited April 19, 2014 by swils
Waterbrick Down Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 Was Dyric's luck not accounted for? Wait a tick. In the battle results, it says that General A was KO'ed, but he's listed as one of Dreyugr's and Dyric's targets later on, and then deals a free hit as well. QM Note: The Generals are also lucky, so the two cancel each other. The KO was a mistake because I had forgotten that the Generals were inspired, the damage is correct I just forgot to fix that.
swils Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Hrmph, of course you're right "If the mage's got the horses covered, then I could really use a heal before I try my luck again."
Scubacarrot Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) Guts killed the horses by the way. Why are they on 1 health. Edit: Apparantly they were not health points but amount of hits? Where would I have been able to find this out? It's not anywhere. So it's healthpoints.. Right? Edited April 19, 2014 by Scubacarrot
Zepher Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 OoC: I believe he only hit them once, so they are still standing!
Zepher Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I guess we didn't explain! Sorry! Those are hits, not health! I figured everyone would understand that! Ah well.
The Legonater Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 These guys are tough! I fire again at General A.
UsernameMDM Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 "Hewyrt, try that again." Amethyst - Bastala Amethyst - Tarvalk
Vash the Stampede Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 "Drats." Dreyrugr takes a smelling salt and uses a pheonix essence on Haldor. If Benji uses his Pheonix Incense Dreyrugr will instead attack General B with his second action. Legonator, could you maybe put in a conditional that if Dreyrugr attacks we swap my attack to General A and yours to General B seeing how Dreyrugr can KO General A if he gets a shield?
StickFig Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) Haldor - Free Hits (Sons of Light A, 80 Damage, Haldor KO'd) Glup - Free Hits (Sons of Light B, 80 Damage, Glup KO'd) Guts - Free Hits (Sons of Light C, 80 Damage, Guts KO'd) Thormanil - Free Hits (Sons of Light D, 80 damage) Benji - Free Hits (Cassandra, 140/2= 70 Damage) * Horse: */* Grants the “Hastened” Effect Permanently Separate Target Guts killed the horses by the way. Why are they on 1 health. Edit: Apparantly they were not health points but amount of hits? Where would I have been able to find this out? It's not anywhere. So it's healthpoints.. Right? I guess we didn't explain! Sorry! Those are hits, not health! I figured everyone would understand that! Ah well. So are the horses still alive? Or not? Something in the mechanics wasn't explained, and because of that free hits that wouldn't have happened otherwise killed 3 heroes and 1 NPC plus wounded Benji? Matthias, aghast at the fallen heroes lying around him, redoubles his attack against Son A's Horse and Son B's Horse Cassandra's Horse. "Matthias, I suggest you attack Cassandra's Horse twice." I'm thinking it's better if I can eliminate at least one and possibly two free hits from the Sons? If there's something I'm missing, someone please let me know and I'll change it. Edit: I'm an idiot, figured it out. Thanks! Edited April 20, 2014 by nstickney
Purpearljellyblob Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) OoC: If I don't post can someone please take care of Benji's actions? I'm a quite busy in real life, and from Sunday to Tuesday I will have no internet access whatsoever. I shall post for Benji just this once if that is okay with everyone. Flare and Scuba still have the final say for Benji. Benji moves to Eastern Border and uses a Phoenix Incense. Don't worry too much about it. "If Gulp is revived, maybe you can direct him to hit Cassandra's horse as well. Unlike bombs, attacking it doesn't mean a hit, so we have to maximise the odds of killing Cassandra's horse."
