StickFig Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) QM Note: Since everyone doesn't seem aware of the horse mechanic. They require a certain number of Hits (i.e. cases where they would take damage, bombs included) before they are destroyed. Ok, got it. Wasn't sure if we were getting some leniency due to the lack of earlier explanation. Matthias... redoubles his attack against Cassandra's Horse. Benji moves to Eastern Border and uses a Phoenix Incense. "If [Glup] is revived, maybe you can direct [her] to hit Cassandra's horse as well. Unlike bombs, attacking it doesn't mean a hit, so we have to maximise the odds of killing Cassandra's horse." I think we can do one better. Matthias, hearing the talk of revival, has his hopes lifted just a tiny bit. He aims his arrows at Cassandra's Horse, keeping his eye on Prince David in case the horse is killed before one or both of his arrows are loosed. Glup's inert body lies on the front lines, her hand reflexively clenched on a Fire Bomb, as if she were ready to throw it.... If the Incense is used, Glup should be in the battle order before Matthias so that if he hits twice, the first hit will knock out Cass's Horse and the next can be directed against David. As for Glup using a bomb instead of simply attacking, it guarantees us another hit against the horse, and David is the only other target she can do much damage against with a normal attack anyway.... Chromeknight Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Repeat. "I almost got these two down! Should somone go help the other end of the bridge? They seem pretty desperate. " Alexandre, leave off the Oshuultar, he is poisoned enough to drop him soon. Get some poison into someone else and cut down our free hits. As for the other end of the bridge, we will help them when we can spare someone while not putting ourselves in unnecessary danger. I know Benji has an incense, and he is a compliant fellow, he will do as directed. swils Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 If we're going to have Benji use the Phoenix Incense, then please make sure Thormy is ahead of him in the BO, just in case he goes down here. Staggering from the blows, Thormanil tightens his grip on Shishkebab and prepares to attack Son of Light A.
Scubacarrot Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) What will happen when I use a Neutralizer? I assume that both the Eastern Border and the Army will have their effects removed, but not the front. Or just the army since they are in a different place technically? Also, Olmstyr seems to be KO'd with 22 health left, how does that work? "I am going to kill this Prince and his Erastes. I am going to kill Nerwen and her sodding King. Then I am going to kill Tarvalk and his daughter. And I'm going to sodding kill everyone that stands in my way. But first I am going to kill these damned ponies." Battle order: If Olmstyr is alive, he attacks Son of Light B Nelvin attacks Son of Light C Jess attacks Prince? Purpearl uses Party Bomb Dreyrugr uses smelling salts Dreyrugr attacks General B Dyric attacks General A Thormanil vs. Son of Light A. Matthias vs. Cassandra's Horse/Prince if Horse is dead. Benji uses Phoenix Incense to revive everyone at the border to full health. Does he need to move to the border to be able to do that? If he needs to move to the Eastern border to do this, he does (he's hastened, it's fine) If Olmstyr was not alive, now he attacks Son of Light B Glup uses a fire bomb Guts uses Smelling Salts Guts attacks Son of Light D Alexis attacks Cassandra Haldor attacks Prince? Free hits: Red Lizard A Red Lizard B Cassandra (if we don't kill her horse) Raguel This means that some people WILL go down again, we'll make sure to get you up before the battle is done so you get experience, don't worry. Since it would effect both parties in a battle, yes, the East Border and the Kingdoms Territory would lose their positive effects. I'm pretty sure Olmstyr is KO'd and WBD just reduced to his health to 0 before removing his Aura. Benji will have to move to the East Border to use his Incense.

QM Note: Pie is correct concerning Olmstyr and his stats have been fixed accordingly. It should be noted that the Neutralizer will only stop the temporary effects so essentially Lucky and Hastened on the Generals. As long as David or the Generals are still up they provide permanent enforced and encouraged effects.

Oh good, we need the thinking space. Can Dreyrugr move to the back row instantly and throw a weapon or will that take a full round to move? If so, being hastened, would that take up one or both actions?

Scubacarrot Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Do the generals provide bonuses only to red lizard soldiers or to everyone. Because the red lizards are maybe not the leaders over the sons of light?
CMP Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Do the generals provide bonuses only to red lizard soldiers or to everyone. Because the red lizards are maybe not the leaders over the sons of light? They provide bonuses to eachother and the Sons (and Daughter) of Light, but not Raguel and David.

Vash the Stampede Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Dreyrugr doesn't use a smelling salt and instead only attacks General B and will sacrifice 79 health in the case of a mortal hit. The free hit will kill me anyway with where I am in the battle order so wasting a smelling salt seems counter productive.
