Zepher Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 OoC: As we've detailed before - the +WP is added to WP, and the power essentially buffs level. So it's 10+4=14 WP, 30+4=34 power. If they both went to WP, there'd be no distinction.

Scorpiox Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 "That's not what I meant at all. It's not about the tonics..." "Do your job, you can talk all you like later." Haldor sighs and moves for Cassandra.
Zepher Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Yup. I just didn't catch the 34. Only saw the 14. Autoroll for Hoke? Can't do it with the other battle going on.
UsernameMDM Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Can't do it with the other battle going on. What I figured. Just need a 6 hit Spellspin blade & call it a day.
Darkdragon Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Cinna turns to Boris as they exit the Central Tower. "Too bad one of those folks not doing anything in the tower didn't loan you a gem. Here, you can use this to help with these two." Cinna: Hands Boris her Topaz Boris: Lightening spell on Cassandra
Waterbrick Down Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 Cinna: Hands Boris her Topaz Boris: Lightening spell on Cassandra QM Note: Please note that both Boris and Cinna have to spend a turn exchanging the Topaz.
Darkdragon Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 QM Note: Please note that both Boris and Cinna have to spend a turn exchanging the Topaz. Player Note: "I can't attack that quickly. Maybe someone at the Tower can bring me a gem to use." He yells to the people hiding in the tower. "Can any of you loan me a gem that isn't darkness or light?" Cinna sighs. "Alright. Hopefully you can help next round then." Boris: does nothing unless someone in the tower loans him a gem to use. Cinna: Lightening spell on Cassandra
Purpearljellyblob Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 "I can't attack that quickly. Maybe someone at the Tower can bring me a gem to use." He yells to the people hiding in the tower. "Can any of you loan me a gem that isn't darkness or light?" "Oh yes, Borris, I can lend you my Topaz." Purpearl moves out of the Central Tower and hands Borris a Topaz.
Darkdragon Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 "Ah, thank you dear." Boris: waits to receive the Topaz from Purpearl.
StickFig Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) masked, I think you'll need to move to east front then east border as your two actions. No, you can travel to any section that isn't currently occupied by or behind enemy lines. QM Note: You can only move 1 section at a time, unoccupied or otherwise. It takes a turn to move through any territory. Hastened heroes may move through two territories. And so the mechanics change once again? Matthias continues to urge his companions on, but realizes he cannot affect the battle's outcome and so does nothing. Edited May 6, 2014 by nstickney
Waterbrick Down Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 QM Note: Oy vey, yes obviously there has been inconsistency with this. Since Pie established the mechanics, his word is the rule.
Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Ooc: I thought we could only move one space at a time... I need some clarification. .. anyways. . Alexandre continues a section East.
UsernameMDM Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Ooc: I thought we could only move one space at a time... I need some clarification. .. anyways. . Alexandre continues a section East. 1 section per turn/round. Hastened PCs can move 2 sections in a round.
Waterbrick Down Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) QM Note: We really need Pie to make a definitive answer, being as they are his mechanics. Zepher and I are on the same page, but as nstickney has shown, there is still some disagreeing information. Edited May 6, 2014 by Waterbrick Down
Zepher Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) OoC: The way I read Pie's post is that any free unoccupied spaces can be moved into, whereas if, for example, the Eastern Border had some Orcs in it, heroes couldn't move into it. Not that you can move more than one section at a time. But, yes, this is Pie's design, so it's his call! Edited May 6, 2014 by Zepher
StickFig Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 The way I read Pie's post is that any free unoccupied spaces can be moved into... That may be right, but it's the fact that he replied to someone asking if they needed to take two actions to move two sections away and he said "No" that makes me think otherwise.
CMP Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) It was intended that it only takes you one turn to move from one section to another as long as it has not been overrun, regardless of the distance between the two. Edited May 7, 2014 by CallMePie
Vash the Stampede Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 "Well at least we have almost won this battle." Dreyrugr repeats.
Chromeknight Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 It was intended that it only takes you one turn to move from one section to another as long as it has not been overrun, regardless of the distance between the two. If it is possible to move to any unoccupied section, Gocklo goes to E.Front. If it requires the horse, he takes it instead of Nerwen. So, is Gocklo at Eastern front then? Benji, Jess, can one of you give Gocklo an essence? I'm sure Tesni will give one back after the battle. Gocklo accepts a pheonix essence. If Cisco posts no action for Jess, Jess gives Gocklo an essence. Battle Order Tesni Hightribe Nerwen Calmcacil - heal Hoke Nerwen Calmcacil - heal Hoke > Hoke Ablesword The Krakenwhacker and Titan Smiter - darkness vs. Bastala > Hoke Ablesword The Krakenwhacker and Titan Smiter - darkness vs. Bastala
Flare Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Benji gives a phoenix essence to Matthias. "Go find a hero to revive." He says gruffly.
UsernameMDM Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) Hoke peers at Bastala through his visor. She is beginning to look like the battle is taking its toll. He addresses her in a Diplomatic manner: "You have fought valiantly. Your comrades lay now at your feet, and you know you cannot overpower me. Use your reason and see that this battle is over. You do not have to die here or at the end of a paladin's sword. Surrender to me, and I will let you live and see you returned safely to your home. My friends on the other side of this bridge are decimating the same paladins you seek to destroy. Let the feud end here, let thousands of innocent orcs and humans live, and let it be said the orcs were the ones who claimed peace for all of Baltarok." Edited May 7, 2014 by UsernameMDM
UsernameMDM Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Hoke quickly glances to the Eastern side of the bridge, trying to gauge how the other Heroicans are faring in this battle. Thormanil repeats. You're in charge of the Eastern side of the bridge, so you need to post a battle order.
