I'm flattered. Doing a lot of work behind the scenes, Dufa?

I've been feeling people out. One downside of being the towniest of towns is that you have to put the work in. :cry_sad:

Seriously though, after six months of lacklustre play, I'm trying to play the way I used to, and that includes a little behind the scenes work. Besides, who but the laziest among us haven't PM'ed someone yet? :sceptic:

You want a confession, a turkey or both?

What I want is why i wanted to be an Einherjar, Drink, Eat and fight.

hasn´t been much fighting yet... the end of the day 1 started to look promising but it ended too quickly. A little warning next time guys when you are gonna fight, so I can stop drinking the mead straight from the barrel.

And also were are all the hot lovers, when I was an valkyrie I had to serve and please you einherjar in every kinds of ways but where are my servents and pleasers :hmpf_bad:

OK. :look: How many people have you felt out? Has it turned anything up? Have you felt any of them up?

Maybe one day I'll understand you but you're still pinging me.

It's very peculiar as to what happened, and I'm at a loss to understand it. I'm curious to see the results of both men. In the meantime, I'll be at the bar.

Maybe you will, maybe you won´t thats good.

We haven´t played together before, you have hosted one game I have played in but I speak strange and roleplay, that is what i do.

And this is the first time I am playing in a game with an open night topic, so don´t actually know what to do, so i decided to roleplay more in this topic so I don´t have to do it in the day topics. Is that Okay (not ok-ey) for you, Helga(Hinckley) ?(not that I am gonna ask your opinion or permission :sweet: )

The international language of smartass. Got it.

So, what do you think of Jarni now that you have a whole day's worth of behavior to examine?

Yes I joined the league recently

You seem like a very serious guy/gal Helga, chill out take some mead it is on me :sweet:

Nothing much, I am leaning on one days observations him towards town.

My reaction was maybe hesitated, judgeing him from one comment towards me ( or then he change his playing style (what I doubt))

Me!

Oh. Wait. I am one of laziest. Got it.

But if someone wants to talk. About stuff. You know. We can. Maybe. :look:

It was the middle of the night, and Harald was roused from his sleep. He sat up from his bed, listening intently. It sounded as if someone was in the hall...

... Harald wandered around Valhalla, following the noises into the main hall...

IMG_0921_zps575c7eea.jpg

... Only to find all the einherjar still awake and chatting about the day they'd had!

"Haven't you people heard of sleep?" Harald asked, clearly flustered, "save your energy for the coming morning."

"Stands up on the table with mugs of mead in both hands and shouts"

Heeey look it´s that poor man Harold.

Whaat Sleep, now it is time to party... join us, here´s some Mead.

*CRASH* "Mist falls down from the table"

I wouldn´t maybe call it lazy, I myself can´t trust people that much after just one day that I would go around whispering in PM. Actually I look suspiciously on a person who does that. But that is me.

It has nothing to do with trust. It has to do with feeling people out, seeing how they react. I'm not going around blabbing vital information to anyone.

How many people have you felt out?

That's not important. I can officially say it's not everyone.

Has it turned anything up?

Only that quote from Petr that leads me to think he was town. The rest won't mean a lot until scum turns up.

If he knew he could take someone out when lynched, was his odd behavior him trying to get lynched? If so, I hope he was right about Tumi. It's sort of dumb to act all jestery the first day, though, when he'd have to base the kill off first day stupidity.

Harald, dude... anyone ever tell you that you look like a pineapple?

Granted, you did research afterwards, but why did you immediately assume the vengeful role is a scum thingy?

Seemed like an action that could be given to a Goon. Conversely, it appears it could be given to a Vanilla as well. I'd never heard of it until I looked it up.

Why are you continuously telling us just how amazingly town you are? First, you were the Valhallest of Valhalla, or some crap like that. Now, the Towniest of Town. While you do seem to be working with the town, I don't see the reason to try to convince everybody of it.

Do you know what towniest of towns even means? If so, please tell me, because last I checked it was simply a nonsense phrase that was my own personal trademark going back to numerous games dating years back. But if you think I'm amazing because of it, I'll accept that too.

In the meantime, if you do something for town other than looking totally scummy, I'll be sure to tell people how amazing you are.

This is a very suspicious phrase. Especially the second part, although even going after Dufa for proclaiming his superlativeness is something an inexperienced (In terms of dealing with Dufa) scum could very likely do to seem busy/active/proactive. "You do seem to be working with the town." (No that's not something I said, the redshirt did.) Really? What does that even mean? I suggest we kill redshirt. I mean, it's gonna happen anyway, might as well get it over with.

Like? And how?

Honestly, I'm not really sure, but Petr called out a whole bunch of people in terms of their reactions and suggested we look at those groups. Tumi was notably absent in that conclusion. Either he intentionally left Tumi out of that analysis or something changed between the time he posted that and the end of the day. I suppose it's possible that he simply forgot Tumi, but that seems a lot less likely to me. Either he changed his mind on his own, or someone told him something in PM that led him to want to target Tumi.

Now maybe he really was a Servant of Loki and he was just tricking us with that conclusion post. In that case, I think we take a more serious look at Patrekr as a possible bus since he didn't follow up on that idea with his action. If he comes back Einherjar, and Tumi's also Einherjar, then I'd be worried that we've already got a Servant manipulating our thought processes behind the scenes. That wouldn't be terribly surprising, but maybe an Einherjar who had contact with Petr has insight into who else also did. Obviously, if Tumi's a servant, then we can all be thankful that Petr's death was not in vain.

Those are the three scenarios as I see them, and I think each of the first two leads us in a direction that might yield something positive.

You're right, Snotra, that is a peculiar phrase that Lefsi uttered. "With the town" not "with us". And it seems to imply that he knows Dufa is town.

Duuuuuuude... my hand.... I don't have any fingers... just a clippy thingy... Duuuuuuuuuuuude!

I know you guys want me dead, but you're really grasping at straws here. I didn't get Dufa's stupid inside joke and now I'm scum, obviously. Great detective work. I'm as townie as the next guy, but seem to have drawn the ire of most here. Saying that Dufa "seems to be working with the town" means exactly that, because I don't know that he's town, but appears to me as such.

It seems a little early for incriminating information to be discussed behind the scenes, but I guess it's a possibility. Also, despite not including him in his "analysis", I think he made it clear he suspected Tumi of being a Servant.

I'm surprised you're not calling it "semantics" again. If you're Einherjar, you really should more carefully consider how you phrase things because we have to rely on little tells like this to catch the Servants. Judging from your reaction, I'm not even sure if you understand what made you look scummy there.

I agree with you 100% on how I phrase things. It's gotten me in trouble many times, but when you are truly town and getting bombarded for something you said that doesn't come out exactly right it gets frustrating.

So what didn't "come out exactly right"?

So what didn't "come out exactly right"?

When I say "you seem to be working with the town" instead of saying "you seem to be working with us". I never gave it much thought to make sure that I said "us" instead of a vague "town". I know my allegiance, so I don't necessarily feel the need to tell everybody I'm town in every post. To me, if you're trying that hard to look town, you have something to hide.
