Rick Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Can you explain that? I imagine we all know there's more than one Scum. I read it as if Snotra knew for a fact that Dufa is going to turn up scum (it wasn't about Snotra saying there's going to be more than one Servant), but - as I said - I may be reading too much into it. I actually thought of this possibility today. It's possible someone killed on Night one was the vig. It couldn't have been Petr since he had the vengeful spirit role. Jarni had a role which we can assume wasn't vig or Naemr's block information wouldn't matter. Gofraid could've been vig if he was also blocked last night but our blocker, assuming he is, says he blocked Dufa. I forgot about Sigrid. He might've been the vig. Anyway, it's a possibility to consider. Even if our vig is dead, I still think Dufa is Scum. I really hope he is. We need a Scum corpse around here. I think Mist is the most likely to be the vig kill. It's a toss-up for me on Kolgrima and Chlodochar. Why wouldn't the Scum have killed Chlodochar in your opinion? The axe killer, who killed Mist on night one, killed Gofraid last night. So, if the axe killer's the vig, they're not dead, unless it was Jarni. As you said, Jarni's role was apparently known to some and it wouldn't make sense to present the case against Dufa the way it was presented if they knew he was the vig (Jarni also died first, if the sequence of last night's events is chronological).
def Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 What makes you think there are 5? Are you proposing 6 or 4?
CorneliusMurdock Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 If the vigilante feels comfortable contacting me, I have a lead on a good target for you tonight. If not, I understand.
Scubacarrot Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I've gotten used to you being a dick but all-caps is totally uncalled for. I respectfully disagree. Mursi's acting dumb, laying words in my mouth, multiple times in a row. Apparantly he doesn't read the small text, can't blame him, but then don't go around laying those words in my pretty little mouth. Figured big text had more chance. There was some thought behind the all caps. If the vigilante feels comfortable contacting me, I have a lead on a good target for you tonight. If not, I understand. Are you even serious? Not being a Servant of Loki doesn't clear you of being a third party, that's what up. Nobody should forget that. Since all the dead are Town, that's not a surprise. Whoever it was isn't a Servant of Loki or a serial killer but that doesn't mean you're Einherjar. The logic you're trying to use there is misleading. Sure. The logic I was going for was not that means I MUST be einherjar, but rather that that result doesn't mean that I am NOT einherjar. Get the difference? I'm just saying, because there have been similarily named results in the past that HAVE indicated things in such a way. And it's logical, that until this investigator does some more work, the result really doesn't mean much at all, but it's better to get this out in the open anyway. I'm a girl! Anything causing this suspicion or is it more pronouns and delayed reaction to Bob? You look like a fat boy though. Who in Odin's name is Bob? And if you mean that thing with Baulf, no I think that that was a ridiculous assessment by the people in question. Can't remember who. The suspicion you have got from me is mostly because you're wishy washy as all hell almost all the time. That's pretty much what got you your place on the list, along with your claims that Mursi plays like he always does (when he's town), while I obviously disagree with that immensely. He's been less of a dick? Haven't you noticed I'm being super nice to everyone?
CorneliusMurdock Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I'm being completely serious, Snotra. If you are truly town, like the result may indicate, can you cool your jets for a bit and let the rest of the town work. Vigilante, I will be relaying the info I have about a target to Naemr. If you feel more comfortable with him, I don't need to know who you are.
Darkdragon Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Dagstyr, I thought you were going to list your suspicions. Why haven't you? I was, and then this whole night action thing with Naemr happened. Since he was top of my list, I am wondering if anything I have thought this whole time is correct. I've stated a few suspicions already in the day and even got one OMGUS vote for one, musta hit a nerve there. With no facts and having been wrong at least three times already in as many days, I'm seriously doubting my ability to figure anything out this time.
Palathadric Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I think Mist is the most likely to be the vig kill. It's a toss-up for me on Kolgrima and Chlodochar. Why wouldn't the Scum have killed Chlodochar in your opinion? If we wake up in the morning and, (let's use Baulf as an example), Baulf is dead (assuming for this scenario that he is an Einherjar), I would be pretty sure that it was not the scum who killed him. Of course, there would be the possibility that he had a night action and the scum found out, but otherwise it would seem to me that there are a lot more people who would be more of a threat to the scum than him. The same goes for Chlodochar. He doesn't seem like someone who would've led the town in catching a scum, of course anything is possible. He also brought a fair amount of suspicion on him. Hence, I don't think the scum would be too interested in targeting someone like that, without having a good (or bad, really) reason for it. I guess we'll see in the morning which side of the coin Dufa flips. I agree with you that Mist and Gofraid are most likely the vig's targets. Since he was top of my list, I am wondering if anything I have thought this whole time is correct. I'm wondering if you've been thinking at all this whole time. I've stated a few suspicions already in the day and even got one OMGUS vote for one, musta hit a nerve there. I voted for you because you are paying so little attention that you don't even know who is dead and who isn't. Clearly you are not at all interested in helping us kill the Servants of Loki.
def Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I have to go to work, so this is my adieu. No hard feelings, I know the difficulty of the situation the town was put in, even though Naemr's logic is entirely faulty, and it's pretty scummy to jump onto faulty logic for a lynch. Scum are having a cakewalk this time around, it seems. With town fighting amongst themselves as much as they are, there isn't much they have to do. Good luck against the Servants of Loki!
CMP Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 No hard feelings, I know the difficulty of the situation the town was put in, even though Naemr's logic is entirely faulty, and it's pretty scummy to jump onto faulty logic for a lynch. Um, we're not interested in Naemr's logic, we're kind of looking at the night action result that puts a giant red flag on your heard. head*

MagPiesRUs Posted December 12, 2013 Author Posted December 12, 2013 As the day came to a close, the einherjar had decided that Dufa the Godless (def) must die. Dufa was not listening however - he was more interested in learning how to get out of this Valhallan purgatory. "Dufa, you have been sentenced to death," Harald announced, "do you have anything to say for yourself?" "Pffft, whatever. Heathen," Dufa replied Dufa rose to his feet and announced before the hall, "I'd like to take this opportunity to say that you are all infidels and will burn in the eternal fires of hell for your misdemeanors. Thank you." "Booo!" the crowd answered, "die, you vile Servant of Loki!" "A servant of Loki?!" asked Dufa, outraged, "I am no one's servant but God's. Also, I don't even believe in Loki! There are serious flaws in this accusation..." Harald, having heard enough, swung his axe and lopped off Dufa's head. Dufa was very much dead. Darkness began to creep into the hall, and the einherjar readied themselves for the coming night. Surely their luck would improve?
