why are there no gungans in the advert either?

(it is probably because they arn't comming out so they dont advertise them

do you think they may bring out another gungan set to go with these naboo sets?

it seems like an ep 1 year this year

;-)

Q2: Yes!!

Ep1 On!!

Most people hate Gungans, but it's good to see that there are more people that think they're awesome. They're so primitive, yet they kick megablocks.I'd love a Mini set with a Bongo and the Opee sea killer....

I doubt we will ever get a gungan set again as lego got stung badly with their first one. They were in discount shops and sales for years after the set was discontinued.

i know what you mean i managed to pick up two just before christmas! how longer after they were released is that! there was still loads of them there too!

But with this MTT comming out it makes more sence. Is there any other battles you can think of in which the MTT has been involved. On the advert it shows them fighting naboo starfighters but it would be just as easy to make a few gungans for them to fight.

i have a load of gungans so i dont know why i am complaining! :-D

Well they need to make the set right this time. Battle Packs are where it's at. A few gungans, a Kaadu, and some device for launching the balls. Knowing LEGO, it'd be some kind of modified Zamor sphere launcher with blue spheres, which, honestly, wouldn't be too bad or too off from the movie. Those Zamor sphere launchers are some of the best launchers LEGO has come up with.

Damn, they did it again, they actually put another shooting thingy on the naboo fighter :'-( ... oh well

but that MTT looks soooooo great, I might forgive them anything. It makes me almost happy to have missed the previous one (well, I wouldn't have had anough room to store the two on my shelves :-D It's already hard as it is... )

You know, from what I can see, Lego has put the missle in the Naboo fighter very cleverly *y* !

Edit: From Rebelscum, they have both commercials on one page. Attempt to syncranize them both at the exact same time and it sounds very funny because they are so very familiarly the same lines almost.

I'd really like to see a "Gungan Grand Army" set. It would be about the size of the MTT set and include a brick-built Famba (similar to the Aquaraider creatures), 8 or 9 gungans (2 with kadoos) and plenty of other Grand Army war equipment (including LEGO's favorite: catapults *sweet* )

make it three.one of them with a BIG roller :'-)

If I got a big gungan set I would want the two huge monstors that cast the energy shield around the gungan grand army.

There you go, Capn. But if we're getting technical there should be two. One to carry the generator, one to carry the projector. ;-)

For what it's worth, the basic troops of the GGA are Militiagungs. ;-)

There you go, Brian.

I doubt Lego will be doing more gungans.

I'm sure it was just a mistake.

A shock stormie now there's an idea for expanded universe :-).

I kinda like the expanded universe, it makes things more interesting.

(off topic, but is the TIE crawler another expanded universe model like the TIE/D model?)

Yes, and so are the two darktroopers that go with it.

wow... after watching that commercial, i hesitantly say the MTT might be one of the best LEGO sets ever produced. it seems LEGO is not only improving there products but their advertising too !!! because after watching both of those commercials im really considering getting the dropship AND the MTT.

i think im having an identity crisis *wacko*

Yah, same spot as last fighter... but it fires!

If Lego made a gungun set, I'd buy it, keep everything, grab some gunguns and rip some heads off. >:-) LOL

They're not Dark Troopers,but Blackhole Troopers. :-P ;-)
