Gee Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Some of you guys are Technic monsters! I just don't know how you do it, there's no way I could afford, or find space for, the amount of sets you buy! Fair play! Quote
Lakop Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Evening, I just need to look at the empty boxes behind me and I can see I bought: 42006, 9394, 42001, 42002 and 42005. It all started with 42002. Hopefully the service truck or some other bigger set for christmas. H Quote
skriblez Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I don't think i want to check how many sets and parts i have bought this year. I do have all the 2013 models along with 2x 41999, 2x Unimog, 2x 42006. Bought some train stuff and tracks to. Lets just not talk about it :P Quote
Gee Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 2x 41999?! That'll be worth a mint! You guys must buy the sets and not take them out of the box, thinking of the investment. Quote

N-4K0 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 The first set I bought after my dark ages was purchased through an online store, sometimes between Christmas Eve and New Years Eve last year. It was sent a couple of days into this year, so I count it for 2013. The sets I've bought are, in order, - 8069 Backhoe Loader - 9393 Tractor - 8110 Unimog U400 - 9392 Quad Bike (for parts) - 9390 Mini Tow Truck, x2 (for parts) - 42002 Hovercraft (for parts) - 42009 Mobile Crane MK II After I discovered BrickLink, I've started buying parts from there instead of buying small sets to get parts. Roene Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Probably the first time in years I didn't by a Technic Set! Although there are some sets of 2013 I will buy next year. Only set I got was the 10234 Sydney Opera House, but of course it's not a technic set. Quote

jadedomg Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I bought the F1 Car, small backhoe, hovercraft and dirtbike. I was gifted the crane mk2, the service truck and excavator. It was a good year for getting sets! I really enjoyed the F1 car and new crane. Quote
