MKJoshA Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 The back story for this build is actually part of a Saga I've started with my character, Wyndor. I'll be posting more pictures and the story in another when I have time to get all the story parts together. For now, here is my Phase II Gatehouse: Quote
mrcp6d Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I like the stonework a lot--looks solid. I think the random tiles as snow are just that, random. This MOC probably would have been a-okay without them and still been easily identifiable as Mitgardian. Just my $0.02 Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I like the stonework, and the gate itself! Nice details with the vendors outside as well! I do agree about the snow though. Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Nice gate! I really like the vendor's stands, especially the armors' one the stone work is nice, but maybe you could add some veriety in the colors used... I see some layers of plates, maybe you could use some dark grey one. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Great build for phase II! I like the sturdy feel to the wall and gate Neat detail with the weapons/armor vendor. Also I like how you included the Mitgardian colors in the border. I'm looking forward to your Phase III build Quote
kabel Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 great stuff MKJosha! Really like the tile work and how you combined stone and wood. Worthy second phase entry Quote
Jodocus Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Nice MOC! I like the way you built the walls - sturdy, just the way a wall should be. Success with Phase Three! Quote
Gunman Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 although small wall you textured it pretty well!! i like it Quote
Gideon Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Nice gate! I especially like the stone detailing around the gate itself, and the overall look of the wooden parts I still think however that your MOC presentation would be improved by a more even backdrop. Try ironing the cloth or remove the background with Photoshop/GIMP or similar? Quote

Try ironing the cloth or remove the background with Photoshop/GIMP or similar? I am in the process of improving my backgrounds. You're not the only person who's mentioned it so I know it's a necessity to work on. I didn't have time to improve on it before talking these pictures, but soon I'm hoping there will be better backgrounds on my pictures Quote
