CCCXI - Lord Maeven on Felsentritt, carrying the Goddess Banner

Not here, it could not be! The lesser being itself was not a threat, these bones would surely shatter. Felsentritt was about to run it over and the last thing it would ever see would be the Goddess Banner in its glory. However, an undead was not supposed to be that close to the inner realm. The Goddess herself would need to be alarmed, the army assembled, the old ones called. She would not like this, not at all...

This minifig is pure awesomeness. So much courage to do that to the werewolf head. The horse and the banner are great also. But I think he could use a more custom sword instead of the classic chromed sword.

Great work, congratulations.

Thank you for the kind replies. The werewolf head was a tricky thing, because I had only one expensive one and had to use different big drills and scalpels, which can break parts easily.

Yey, hmm, you are right about the sword. I have custom spears and lances, but no real ideas for swords. Maybe I could have painted the dragon catana silver, but somehow that did not appeal to me.

Very awesome Fig man.. I just can't get enough of the werewolf head on his head... that's just awesome man.. I'd pay to get a few of those done haha.

None the less really great job man, you got some skills down your sleeve.

Please, check the last post's date before replying in a topic in the future. In this case it's more than 1&1/2 years old, and your reply does not add much to the discussion.

Reviving older topics can be useful when it furthers discussion, but otherwise it just takes attention away from more current ones.

I don't know the policy for answering revived threads, but now that it is pushed up, I might as well comment...

Thanks ShiningOne. I indeed enjoyed buying certain products for cutting out the goddess banner. Now whereever I walk past a certain coffee store with a big goddess logo in front, I think "Ha, Elven Army headquarters."

I think it looks great. Excellent work there... except that I can't get over that coffee logo used for the banner. Whenever I see this mini figure, I keep thinking he's some sort of coffee baron or something. I'm just wondering, did you ever consider making your own symbol for the banner?

Hi,

glad you like it. Yes, I am considering making my own banner. Although I like the goddess, she should actually not be on the main banner, because the sigil for my army is the stag. Making my own stag banner would also enable me to use a shape which is not round. The current round shape is not perfect, I would prefer a triangle or rectangle.
