Jodocus Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 From Sir Friso, Lord of the Falcon Islands, greetings. I hereby inform and announce unto you that it has pleased me to institute the Falcon Border Watch. Improvements on the Watchtower have been made so that my men will be protected when doing their duty for Mitgardia. Also it has been my decision to forbid any fools to enter the Watchtower on pain of my displeasure. For the Glory of Mitgardia! The Watchtower has been finalized - a sturdy stone tower to guard the borders against all foes... ... and while Sir Friso instructs the guards not to let in any Fools (or Jesters, for that matter)... ... his retainers are starting back to Falcon Rock... ... while Fool and Jester, having been told that only real soldiers can enter the tower, are playing at Knights and Heroes... ... and others are taking the Knights and Heroes-business a bit more seriously! To be continued... Quote
kabel Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 really great tower (great rock and wood work) funny story as always and a very nice bridge. So, you're trying to steal Sk's title as mocing machine, right? Quote
Alfadas Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Nice combination of stone and wood, it looks very cool! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 I wish I could churn MOCs out as quickly and to as great a standard as you're doing at the moment! Great expansion on your previous phases, and yet again, the story is great! Quote
Jodocus Posted December 15, 2013 Author Posted December 15, 2013 Hi, hi, SK better beware of Fool and Jester on the roll... So glad you all like my mocs. This was my first try at a genuine round tower... happy you think it turned out well. A head full of ideas keeps me from my sleep - and more mundane things in the real world... A big thank you to the community of GoH for giving so much inspiration!!! Quote
Gunman Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 your best moc imo... i love it... mocing machine Quote
Wedge09 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Great work, in particular with the tower  Quote
mrcp6d Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Very impressive! I really like how you reused the same base for each stage. It's how I thought a lot of the AoM MOCs were going to go. My favorite part of this is the little connected structure for the tower door. Does it connect to the tower? If so, I'd really like to see some deconstruction pics. Quote
ZCerberus Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Looks nice. If there's a phase I'V, I hope the tower is taller! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Excellent finish to your tower builds. The wooden section at the top looks great and adds to the Mitgardian feel of the build Like mcp6d,I really like the little entry building connected to the main tower Excellent bridge too Quote
Torgar Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Nice tower! This is my favorite of your builds so far, I really like your style. Keep them coming! Quote
synbiote Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 tried myself a round tower once.. isn't that easy.. How wide is it across? 13 studs? less If less.. please do share your construction methods.. lovely.. just lovely.. Can't get enough of those fool & jester having fun :). While the manly mitgardians do their manly business.. just so crisp on such a small plate. Quote
Jodocus Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Thnx everyone I'll make some pics when I de-construct the tower and place them in this thread - promise! Quote
de Gothia Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Yay! More mocs from the fool and the jester! =) I love your small mocs! This is certainly no execption! I love that small bridge! Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Great work! Lots of details to love here, like the roof, snow work and use of the Mitgardian colors! Keep it up! Quote
Gideon Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 This tower series was exactly what I had hoped to see when the AoM project was announced Looking forward to Jester and Fool taking on new tasks Quote
