Goals:

To be made with parts only from the 9398 set.

2 L motors, Servo Motor. (motors represented by other lego parts because they are not present in LDD)

Front and Rear Suspention.

Based on the Honda ATC because its the only bike I can think of that can use the 9398 wheels.

I love the ATC, every single model of it. Great fun to ride too, if you ever get the chance. Just as a matter of interest, which model of ATC are you basing it on. It looks a lot like the 110 but that does;t have suspension, so I'm guessing it must be the 250ES.

The above ATC which I think is the 250cc, I only ever seen one once but never had the chance to ride it, biggest bike I've been on was a 125cc scambler, the accelleration was :sweet:

I'll build it now :classic:

Edit: found a problem on step 7 as the 5M red beam can't go through the back of the L Motor, on the LDD model you made of them that section does not appear... maybe change them to 3L beams? I think there's enough in the 9398 set although I'm not sure

I see what you mean the wire is there, the beam has to be strong to hold the servo in place, I'll have to remove the red 5 beams and use a single 5 red beam instead of the 3 light grey beam in the middle, I really should test stuff before posting, oops

There are two 3m red beams and six light grey, plenty.

Quick Fix http://www.brickshel...ndaATC/temp.lxf

The problem is assassins creed black flag, I cant stop playing

I am almost 100% certain it'll be strong enough without that beam in the middle, it ain't moving nowhere, its very tight space wise to squeeze everything together but it's just about ok, but a small bit of redesigning may be in order :classic:. Will finish it tomorrow morning and take pictures then, so far it's a very neat build! And challenging too... but that's just the LDD auto generating instructions for you

I hope so and those ldd instructions are sometimes impossible.

If it works it should be pretty quick and looking forward to see if it does, I'll be dismantling my crawler tomorrow, the reason I haven't is my dad spent 2 days making it last last week and hes a bit narked I want to take it apart, lolz.

Long report: The steering is a tad flimsy

The rear suspension can't do much

And the housing for the servo motor is very tight

Sorry for the below par photos, tried to get it out ASAP, but I think you can still understand everything

Pics are fine, I also built it and the steering defiantly needs some serious work also suspension needs looking at, the gearbox and drive are good and it goes like a stabbed rat

It works!!! *oh2*

Wobbly steering needs further attention, maybe gearing down the speed to avoid parts getting broke.

Who needs gearing down? Looks pretty fun to play with to me, something like that would be pretty boring if it's geared down IMO. Looks pretty good so far!

Agreed! Great job! Adding a body (weight) will slow it down a little anyway...

Your dog sure isn't impressed .

If you look at him in the video he keeps watching me and if I was to look away he attacks the bike, the servo noise seems to set him off

Completely redone the steering but due to the way the gears are the steering is offset 5 degrees, added some bodywork.
