Here we are, in the far north. Far from any civilisation, for no particular reason other then to please our Lord. Objective: build a nice outpost there, and defend it with your life.

Well, I hope he calls us back soon, here is nothing to find then snow, snow and nothing but snow. And man, what is it cold here! I don't have much problems with that, but my mate here has. At night we here a lot of scary noises, so I think we are close to a nice fight to warm up our frozen limbs.

That's me, guarding the tower.

And that is my mate. He doesn't do much else then getting his feet burned by the fire and eating our supplies.

At least we have wood to burn and nice ale to drink, if it isn't frozen. And behind that are my weapons, in desperate need of blood!

That's me again, standing guard in the harsh wind. And yes, that is a plant as the Mitgardian flag. My nice friend was cold so he used the green as a scarf.

Here we are again, me with armor and bow, beside me my mate with his chicken leg. By the way, that was our last meat. Now all we have left is ale and wood. Lovely. Hope we get supplies soon, or at least find some orcs to slay. I'll be back soon!

All comments are welcome, and sorry for the blurry pics. (Please no comments on the pics, just on the moc itself). The pics are better now, right?

I know, but I just ain't good in taking pics. I have a lamp hanging above it, I tried every tip you guys gave me for taking pics, and they stay blurry for some reason. Don't know why.

EDIT: I think I know why, I forgot to put the camera on the flower thingy. Tomorrow I will take pics again to see if they are any better.

You've been around here long enough to know that the majority of the members don't accept photo's like this. Especially when we know you can do better than this! So next time if photo's don't turn out the way you wanted, just wait and try again. It's a free build, so enough time to submit and to give it the love it deserves.

I like the log pile at the side with the snow on it!

I was going to say the same thing!

Also, using the "flower" setting should greatly improve your pictures.

Yeah, I know. I am sorry. Today I'll take new pics and upload them here. I am certain they are better. Again I am sorry, won't happen again!

So I took new pics, and they are much better. I will edit the first post now! O and does anyone know how to delete pics from flickr?

hi jeroena,

yes the pics are better concerning the light! However, they are still completely out of focus. But I think I know what's happening: I think you get the lens too close to the object, that way the camera doesn't focus anymore. What you should do instead is to move away from the object and then zoom in as far as possible. Using a tripod or something solid to put your camera on should also help. Often cameras also have a programm for taking close up shots. The symbol for this mode is usually a flower. Try to use that instead of the fully automatic mode. So good luck at trying that!

As for your build, I like it! Nice entry for phase one.

Well, I already zoomed in, I can zoom in further, and the camera is already on the flower. I will use something to put the camera on next time. Glad you like it!
