I'm probably one of the rare ones that tends to do all of the above.

I do love having the compete sets, exactly as prescribed.

I do make a lot of my own junk that's 100% unique.

I also like taking lego sets and modding them. I'm going to be trying to add doors to my 60051 train. I'm trying to add end-car windows to my 7745 train. A whole bunch of activities like these, things that make sets nicer overall but keep the spirit of the original sets. One thing that I really like the look of is the curved smooth arches over the ends of my 7715 train. That kind of stuff. Some times the pieces aren't available during the era that the set was made, other times I think that I just know better than the people making the sets.

I'm making a large town layout with only mocs - so I'm a moccer. But at the same time I like to collect all the sets I used to play with or yearn for in the late seventies - early eighties. That puts me in more than one category.

There is no way I can choose just one answer. I make MOC minifigs and mod existing minifigs. I make dioramas to photograph (though those are only partially Lego). I am using minifigs in my first photo comic. Then, another big chunk of my Lego are at work for clients to play with. (And sometimes I get to play with them.)
