Posted December 23, 201311 yr When they come for your hamsters, you may want one of these: Pics and description are coming to my website shortly. I believe the gun can be recreated from the video alone if you try hard enough.
December 23, 201311 yr Pretty clever mechanism! A little dissapointed that there wasn't any live target testing, seeing as you seem to a lot of them
December 23, 201311 yr Cool, and like always very clever, but I do have to admit. I was a bit disappointed that it was shooting rubber bands, not Lego bricks.
December 23, 201311 yr Cool. Gunnery hamster and it doesn't look too hard to reverse engineer. Are you going to shoot anyone asking for full instructions?
December 23, 201311 yr So, how about them full instructions? Don't be lazy. Nice MOC both in terms of functionality and looks, but seems like it takes a while to reload though, which might negatively affect its playability. Have yet to see a Lego gun address that, but I guess it can't be helped. Edited December 23, 201311 yr by jantjeuh
December 23, 201311 yr So there isn't a way to spin the barrel without shooting? I mean the barrel doesn't go straight to full speed so you shoot a few bands slower. Now go and mount it on a vehicle!
December 23, 201311 yr Author Don't be lazy. If I was lazy, this video would end in 2 minutes without showing how a single piece works. So there isn't a way to spin the barrel without shooting? I mean the barrel doesn't go straight to full speed It goes straight to full speed, as you can see at 3:29. But you can slow it down with the knob at its side if you wish,
December 23, 201311 yr The comment about "coming for your hamsters" won my attention. The horse head won my heart :D
December 23, 201311 yr I really like it a lot. Finally your hamsters get the "tools" to take over the world! Next up: Hamster-driven and -operated Nuke launcher!
December 23, 201311 yr If I was lazy, this video would end in 2 minutes without showing how a single piece works. Obviously, I was joking ;-) Maybe an idea for a future MOC, a Lego gun that's really fast to reload with rubber bands. Edited December 23, 201311 yr by jantjeuh
December 23, 201311 yr These guns always amaze me. How is people willing to spend 20 times the firing time loading it! Anyways really nice design, cool skull. Edited December 23, 201311 yr by aol000xw
December 23, 201311 yr These guns always amaze me. How is people willing to spend 20 times the firing time loading it! I don't know if you have any experience, but that is actually pretty much how guns are in real life. As an example, loading a 30 round magazine for your typical M4/M16 rifle by hand, is both time consuming and hard on your fingers. Not having any experience with rotary rapid fire weaponry, I can only assume that the time spent loading and preparing, is fairly long compared to the time spent shooting Edited December 23, 201311 yr by D3K

December 23, 201311 yr Author The photos and description are here, as promised: http://sariel.pl/2013/12/minigun/
