MOC: SD-02 battle mech (speeda demon-scorpio compiner)

SD-02 battle mech is an upgraded/remodeled version of SD-01 battle mech after adding scorpio's parts into it.

This thing is a real beauty. The only problem it has is how much the red parts clash with the relatively uniform colorscheme elsewhere on the MOC.

I actually like lime, purple and red as a color combo; I think it's the gold, silver, and other such parts that throw things off here. Given that it's a combiner that's fairly unavoidable, so I won't knock that. I do quite like this one however, it has some good shaping and you did a nice job using what parts you had. The only major gripe I have here is that the Scorpio head assembly on top is quite bulky, and I think I would rather it be slimmed down. (The large weapons throw me off here, it's hard to tell just how big/bulky the mech is)

thanks for the suggestion, VBBN. the top is actually made that way, because before that when i look at it, there's a gap between the shoulders and the body, and it kinda disturbing me. and about the large weapon, i think big guy needs big weapon right?
