Holy guacamole, this is going to be easily on the top of voting, is stupendous, the forms, the colors, the size, it really depicts and provides a formidable structure.

The very first picture shows some great perspective and provides a very imposing view! The tower has an organic look to it as well - almost like an arm and hands with some angles. Great job!

Wish we would have snatched you up... Such a good tower.

+1 for all UoP credit claims: [Architecture]-roofing, [Architecture]-wall techniques, [Architecture]-round tower, [Military Science]-fortifications

This is amazing, could you make a "rockwork" tutorial for your fellow eurobrickers? (Or point me to one, if there is one already)

Thanks! I'd like to make a rockwork tutorial if I ever get the time to, but its really just planning out how you want them to look, building a lattice to build off of, and taking your time filling it out. Theres really no easy way to do it. I used bricks off set at a 45 degree angle for this build.

I really love this tower... I might borrow the style or details of yr build... I expect even we Avalonians have to build some more Noct scenery in the next episodes of Book II.

Bloody fantastic.

Thanks narbilu!

What a beauty Torgar! Really nice rockwork and landscaping. The tower really does have a desolate, windswept atmosphere to it. UoP +1 to all your claims for sure.

Thanks Gabe!

Very nice I like the technique you used with the rocks.

Thanks Architect!

Somehow, I didn't vote the first time I posted, but I definitely support the +1 for all the UoP claims here

Thanks again Kayne!

Thanks! I had the exact look i mind while building, but I didnt want to make it too obvious.

Thanks Ska!

Rockwork, wall techniques, overall shape of the tower and more...just wow!

UoP +1 for all claims, no question about that :classic:

Thanks again Gideon!

Wow. Way too cool. I love the build, excellent composition and coloring! Nice rockwork and stonework! This might just be our winner...Too bad you left Mitgardia.

This build is incredible! You have an amazing amount of detail in the rock work, and I love the fingers throughout. The base is also very well done. I love how unique the tower is as well. Fantastic!

That is beautiful! That first photo, looking up at it; the proportions and the lighting and the stonework. Really gorgeous.

The arches alternated with the slopes for the machicolations make it for me.

Beautiful textures here, so audacious to go for a largely monochrome build but the texture really justifies it. The lighting and photography are superb, and the rock work and base really stand out. Wonderful shaping on the upper tower and nice techniques, I really like the windows. UoP+1 for all claims.

Thanks robuko, I went with the monochrome look because I felt it was a good fit in Nocturnus. I'm glad you like it!

Its a shame I hadn't had time yet to comment on your beautiful tower. Means I can't add too much to the guys before me. ;)

Generally I hate the look that Derfel and Legonardo use so much cause it makes every structure appear so cluttered, rundown and unrealistic. Doing it monochromatic and in dark bluish gray it looks rather appealing - thanks for opening my eyes to this! The windows are quite impressing, too  - something I'm going to steal one day - as well as the trees!

The only thing I don't like too much as it looks quite unnatural (not a bad thing, we are in Nocturnus) and impractical is the base. Not too sure about this angled way of building.

Top notch build, dear Torgar! A winning one if I had to guess. Well done!

Excellent job! Great work with the rocks there and the round tower is spectacular! You really nailed the dark look! I'd give you +1 too except I think you already have more than you need!

Stupendous build, Torgar, the irregular shape of the tower really looks great :sweet:

Excellent texture too, and the rocks on the base turn out very nicely tilted out just a little, they make it look as if the tower was on almost inaccessible cliffs, especially in the first picture.

...This might just be our winner...Too bad you left Mitgardia.

My thoughts exactly, but at least your on the Black Spires' side

Thanks Rolli, I thought the run down look would look good in dark bley and would fit well in nocturnus, I'm glad you like it!

Thanks Garmadon, I had to change things up for book 2, and I think its more fun having 4 active guilds.

Wow, this is amazing! Stupendous tower! I love the detail! Your rockwork is amazing as well!

Thanks mpoh98!

I think the others have mentioned all the good stuff about this moc, so I'll keep it short: Truly eye candy!

Thanks EC!
