Well UCS models have never been shown at toy fair... This idea that all the model are shown as this event comes from some fbtb members (I don't know why).

The falcon is not ucs, this is why we have pics.

We can also think that lego wants to keep the buzz going by not giving any info on this new set

well yes imperial gunners would definitly be a good deal :D But I'm pretty shure of one minifig that will be in the set : luke

Has anybody else noticed that the new falcon was one of few sets without any Luke ? ^^

We will soon be in may, and I don't know if we will have any pic this month. Remember, we had the first pics of the cloud city around june or july of I can rember...

Well it sure is working, many people are so eager to know thay they would probably die just to find out! :P

Anyway, I do hope we get some more info about it soon.

Hi. I'm from FBTB. I am not going to buy a hug set. Even less a large redesign  If only I could steal those plans, and get them to our Bothans so they could decode them and find a weakness with lego's defences to make them change the set if it is something bad! Sorry 'bout that!

Lol well no problem. The fact is that I don't mind because I didn't bought the first falcon. Now I agree with you, the set is huge (and expensive).

PS : I don't think the great amiral thrawn would have given any information to the bothans ;)

Andy 0113 at FBTB emailed Lego and got this response:

"This product should be launched app. in August. The Tie TM collection

consist of 4 diffrent tie fighters, 684 elements and will cost

app.

Ah, so the wait is finally over! I am happy that we finally know but not really annoyed at it being a Tie collection as we had kinda already figured that. I am guessing it will be some sort of bucket which has the pieces to create the different ties but not all 4 at once.

I can't wait to see some actual pictures of the set. I wonder how people at FBTB took this, I bet some of them are dismayed! :D

I think that you WILL be able to build all four at once, since there are 684 pieces.

Hmmm its ok, but I wanted a set more like the Cloud City set, not just a bunch of Tie's.... They allready made 3 ties...

Yeah, a death star module would have been great, much simaler to the style of cloud city.

And I just found a piece count for the current ties on Bricklink.

116 for the Tie fighter

150-200 for advanced (+ y-wing which is 399 together)

288 for the bomber

This probably means that, at 684 pieces, you can build all 4 at once, depending on how much the sets have been changed.

I get mine for 125 euros, but I bought it as soon as it was released. I'll also get the falcon at 125 euros soon (well august is soon on my timetable)

Well you should buy over the net. If you don't buy, you don't get the exclusiv sets such as cloud city, which are expensive but really good in my opinion.

I guess that if the price is low, I'll buy more than one tie collection and buy a little tie hangar
