Hi People,

Have you achieved all things Lego this year (2013) that you set out to achieve and what are your Moc plans, if any, for 2014.

For me I achieved my first studless moc, the skid/wheeled loader, and then the RC test car (which looks much better now) that is sat next to me at the moment. I'm getting to grips with the studless building and learning the new parts, i've not fully achived everything I wanted to but i'm heading in the right direction. My plans for 2014 are to do bigger and better.

First, to finish (or give up on!) my first studless MOC, which was way too ambitious and has been taking forever.

Second, to learn from others by building their vehicles or variants of them.

Third, to see what I can do once I get my hands on the new snowmobile suspension parts!

Wow, that's a lot of motors! I actually planned on making something similar quite a while back, it's literally almost identical to your second picture:

Unfortunately I never started it due to the lack of parts.

What should I build in 2014? My plans are:

-Finish my crawler

-Build something for the crowdsource a supercar project

-Build my first GBC

-Make a fast, big, and realistic RC car. (probably too much to ask when building with Lego though )

-Build a non-vehicle MOC (haven't figured out what yet)

Those are my plans for 2014. Liking all the ideas I've seen so far, looks like 2014 will be a great year for Technic

Cheers,

Awesome thread idea!

I really like what I have seen here so far, very exciting! I'm really looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with!

I would like to take the Reaper design to 8x8 or 12x12, not sure if 3 NXT would do 12x12 tho. maybe 4 NXT on 8x8 would be cool, with 4 servos!!

other project slightly I have started are,

-Ford Model T

-Ford GTHO (Aussie)

-RC buggy with lipos

MAN these designs are amazing!

I really want too get my Cat 957 scraper built, and a 42009 Xl version. Also like to build a crawler latice crane on the same scale as the 42009, and a Cat D - 11 dozer. I,m sure there are some more, but that's what comes to mind right now

Looks like some great project people are working on!

My plans, should I settle back down this year:

-Finish my forwarder

-Maybe build a feller buncher to go along with forwarder

-Build another airplane, either a P-38 or Avenger (already have bits for the Avenger built)

-Maybe build a Sikorsky Super Stallion (already have rotor assembly partially built)

-Maybe build a HD tow truck (looking at two different models)

-Build a road grader once the forwarder is taken apart (probably in 2015)

-Maybe scrap all these ideas and build something else off my long list of things I want to build.

Of course, at the rate I build, I may only finish the forwarder and feller buncher.

Considering by fall next year I will be heading off to college (with no supply of Lego), I figure I have to end my current path with some massive and epic MOC. I have yet to decide what that MOC is though...

I have a Mindstorms EV3 Wall-e like robot in progress. Definitely want to finish that one.

Furthermore working on two MODs, a double rotor (Chinookified) 9396 and the white 8070 supercar with full remote.

And I am planning on doing lots of reviews for the Reviewer's Academy.

rebuilding and finishing my log yarder. at the moment its just plain ugly and badly engineered.

Maybe build some trucks to go with my logging layout.

And give a try to build a crawler crane.
