ZCerberus Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Obsessed with finding a way to raise an army of the dead, Lord Raavage sends Harnold the Deranged to the caves of Mitgardia to find the long lost Ring of Necromancy. Little did Raavage know the Ring is protected by an ancient order of druids sworn to prevent the living from raising the dead! The best part of this creation for me is that all the lighting in LEGO purist. You can see from the first photo as well as the video that the lava is being lit by light bricks turned on and off by a PF motor and LEGO shock absorbers/springs. The other lighting is done by LEGO PF LEDs and a red light brick. Quote
Gunman Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 waiting for the video here.. :) i guess gonna be cool lighting Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Nice MOC. Great lighting. I like the rock skull! Quote
mrcp6d Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 The distorted skull is awesome! Glad to see so many of us GoH folks are submitting CCC entries--this is one of the best in the "Dark Age Illumination" category for sure. Quote
SkaForHire Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 I think this is one of my favorite uses of motor functions because it is so ridiculously awesome. Great work. Quote
SirBlake Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Very nice work with the lighting and movement. Nice concept too. I'd love to see it in regular light to see some of the details. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Fantastic lighting effects The rockwork looks great too Is this your third entry to the CCC? Quote
kabel Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 yet another masterpiece by you and what I like especially about your mocs is how you always include some sort of power functions detail. Really like this! Quote
Niku Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Great atmosphere, awesome rock skull and dark sensations. I could not help to sing the Indiana Jones theme with the video. Quote
thrak76 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Very cool! It's a pretty inspiring use of PF bits. I too, would like to see this MOC in regular lighting (perhaps behind a spoiler tag?) in order to see a bit more detail. Quote
Gideon Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Good job with the illumination, and inspiring to know that it was all purist! I was thinking about getting some lights for my Arduino, but now I might get some PF lights instead Quote
de Gothia Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 You rock mate! I love this! So creepy atmosphere and the PF is just so good! Quote
