Mini Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Heads up for those waiting for it; http://shop.lego.com/product.asp?p=10152 Quote
The Middleman Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Damn US. Is it coming for us again, too? I'll have money for it on the 10th. Quote
medib Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Unless Jake McKee says otherwise, the assumption is that it will be available on both sides of the pond. Though in the back of my mind, I can see Lego deciding not to release it in US and then come up with a lame excuse of not to after the fact. :P Ben Medinets Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 Did order mine today! Will have it sometimes during next week :D Quote
snefroe Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 i just took another look at the maersk ship at lego.com... wow! i don't understand why tlc doesn't build more of these type of sets, without the exclusivity and "maersk" thing... they could sell those for only 80 euro, couldn't they? Quote
Jipay Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Well here its most a matter of color. Its the only set with this light blue maersk color. So maybe in red it will reduce the costs Quote
snefroe Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 i think part of that color cost was paid buy Maersk. anyway, what you're saying is right. Red would limit the costs even more. and we know that the Maersk ship is success. so why doesn't tlc pick up the idea? hm... maybe a question for Jake? Perhaps kids wouldn't play with it? or too many parts? Even though they can easily replace the 1 x 4 bricks by 1 x 8 or more... i'd love to see a tanker or fishing boat in a maritime theme... :oo Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 The fishing boat would be great (recreating jaws, sweet).....and don't forget a cool tug boat to help the Maersk out of port ;) Quote
